Some quick findings from last night:

Examined 6 BE pets:

1 BE pet properly showed it's grown up creature level the other 5 all displayed Difficulty 1.

All BE pets showed as NO special attacks, even though some have 2 special attacks.

All BE pets showed damage 30-40 when most do over 300 damage.

Used pets in combat:

Kwi / Blurrg like pet - health running around 1500 left and the pet kept running around until a stim was used to heal him, when health lowered he started running again.

Cat pet - With 2 out of 10 creatures attacked the cat would run away to about 180m where it continued to fight the creature, tested with a full grown Crimson Razor Cat with full health.

Dewback / Bol - Still running away as before this patch.

Pets Following:

Running around with 2 pets out I found that pets still stay behind after stopping to do a /areatrack and continueing on my way. Very annoying to run back and get them to follow me.

The cat like pets also follow me alot closer then they used to, they sometimes run sideways as to avoid bumping into me. And when I stop running they stand in the precise spot that I'm standing, not a few meters away as they did before this publish.

Pets storing:

After pets stayed behind and I got them to follow me they both auto stored during the first combat that is initiated, not warping, they disbanded from my group leaving me to fight on my own.

Tellpet command:

Sometimes this command works and other times it does not work, seems to coincide with the following bug. Tried with various pets, single character commands and full commands such as "follow".

I will add to this when I have more findings.

Same thing...

pets auto stored during first attack, and running away more than 100m's to continue the fight there.

the autostore happened quite a few times and wasn't very good for my health

Pets also autostored a few times.

On top of that, my most aggressive pets would not hold their ground, and kept running away from things when told to attack. I tried many pets from webmasters to toxic, and none would stay still. It is a royal pain to try to hit something when you are mellee when you have ot chase it around everywhere. Has anyone else experienced the wimpy pet syndrome since this patch?

This happenedtwice when I was fighting yesterday after the patch, I only done two fight againts npc and my pets ( wild ) both disbanded and autospored.

I didnt experienced the "run away pet and fight" nor I checked my bioe pet stats. I will do this evening.

I was on Dath with my BE Gurreck last night & he ran away from almost everything. Very annoying & as a low lvl novice CH I'll be giving up the profession unless some intent to fix this is announced.

I'm feeling very lucky, I was hunting in a group last night and my pet never ran from a fight. The mobs ran a vew times.. voritors ran all over the place, but my pet held it's ground or chased after the target. He bever auto stored and his damaged was correctly reflected.

I was told and confirmed that as long as you use at least two letters in the command the /tellpet command will work. i used it last night with great success.

the two letters thing is a myth

many people have /tellpet macros with more than 2 letters that still find /tellpet to be unreliable.

it may work one day, and not the next.

My PvP findings against the new imp presence? What a joke. 10 minutes in the theed cantina last nite and I was cloning once and rezzed once.

1st Time... Shooting at imp NPC. An imp TKM goes strolling by and in the time it took to walk across the screen had me dead. The pet was on the NPC and the TKM took him out (BE 10K HAM, good resists, light armor, 400 dmg) in less than 30 seconds, along with another player who had joined the attack.

2nd Time... Shooting an NPC. Well, by golly, the Starship Enterprise must have been overhead because 2 more literally spawned in the cantina and I can only figure they got beamed in by Scotty. I got incapped and the pet must have figured it needed a rest cause it peaced out.

3rd Time... Almost a repeat of the first time except the TKM took me out (from full health) in about 10 seconds, couldn't target him fast enough to get the pet on him, and proceeded to take out two other players in equal or less time. And then runs and hides someplace out of sight.

And they're worried about calling pets being a grief? Too funny. They created their own grief with the appearing NPCs. At least have em walk in the door from a distance.

Another observation: I did a /follow with the pet about 50m away, and it transported itself right on top of me instantly. I called my droid and we looked like a three-headed antelope standing there.

It's obvious to me the devs don't play CH at all, or these glaring errors would have been noticed.

As to what Wookieewrestler said, I was on Dath when my pets were having the run away problem. Maybe the run away problem is just on the planet Dathomir?

I just knew they wouldn't bother with the specials and damage.... I had been trying to get that information through somehow via the ranger and the BE correspondents to the devs... and all I got told was: "They know about the level not showing right".

Its got to be a template thing with the pets. My cowardly gurreck will bail at the drop of a hat, but a wild kima, a wild cu pa and a wild female kaadu will tank like champions. I barely bother with the gurreck anymore. I just throw buffs on the lesser pets and they do better in pitched fights.

The biggest problem I've had is when idle my pets no longer stay 3-5m away from me. They stand RIGHT ON TOP OF ME. This makes it really really hard to see anything, find a slain foe for looting and to see what to target next. At this point I'm almost glad I'm giving up CH soon.
