Thread: Creature Handler Top 5 issues, post-CU edition
You're only allowed to submit 5 issues? Because while those are 5 biggies, those aren't the only issues with CH.
Other big issues for me:
- We need our max level of pet increased - CL 70 is not adequate. This has to be a priority under new combat level system. Lower level pets are just not effective against higher level mobs.
- Masked scent breaks far too easily, making taming very difficult.
- I'll say again about Hate system. It will do little good if pets can hold aggro but they still die quickly and are unable to deal damage (sufficient to make them dangerous).
- Nothing that can be done about this, but I want the devs to understand just what "unfortunately...it is no longer practical to have multiple pets...in use at one time" has done to CH.

This is a brief list of what I plan to submit to the dev team regarding the newest "Top 5" list for Creature Handler following the Combat Upgrade.
4. Uncallable pets that were previously usable.
This encompasses all non-BE pets that shot up over CL 70 when their planets were rebalanced, and all BE pets that converted to being crazy high levels. Hopefully we'll see either an increase in controllable pet levels (to 80) which I will ask for as a possible solution to this, or the most common problem pets (klikniks, gnarled rancor) reduced to CL 70 or less. Not sure how they'd handle the BE pets that converted really badly, but since the issue is similar I combined it.
I have found that any pet deed not in a vendor lost its light armor if it had it and were uauially safe to tame/convert. So if the light armor is the problem why not just remove it from all PCD's? That would fix pets jumping 150+CL
My next issue.
Since CHs give up alot of accuracy, defense, & speed that other double masters havedue to SP costs it would be nice if CH XP converted to FS Reflex/Combat XP so we can at least use CH skills to grind a few FS boxes to somewhatmake up for it.

that would be nice if you could do that.
Anyone know if this was fixed with latest update patch?

Pretty obvious issue, totally gates new players entering the profession.

I have an issue, I don't know if this is encompassed by another of the issues:
Last night I was trying to tame creature(baby)s didn't matter what baby, any baby for that matter. When you examined them they said tameable:yes HOWEVER, when I tried to bring up a radial menu with tame on it all I ever got was examine and attack.
I also tried using the /tame command and all I got was "that is untameable" I couldn't tame anything last night, my CL was not even reached. (CL60, trying to tame a CL42).
not sure if this has been addressed

The way I figure it SWG owes me about 3 million credits and also the money I spent playing/wasting my time getting to Master CH. 15 bucks a month and 6 months into it comes to a 90 dollar rebate.
If it sounds like I'm upset, peeved, etc. You bet. I used to being kissed before I get screwed.

I can submit more than 5 (and I will) but I am trying to assign priority to the most pressing issues at the moment. Like I said, I'll try to push us over CL 70 controllable as part of a potential solution to issue #4. The rest I'll add to the list of issues 6+ unless you think they are higher priority than the first 5. If so, let me know.
Thanks for reply! Reason I mentioned controlling pets over CL 70 is because I see this as a seperate issue from uncallable pets. Not being able to call a pet is annoying, and thoughit is an emotionally charged issue, it doesn't really affect game play. However, I strongly believe that to be effective in combat, we need to be able to call pets that are not just close to our own level butequal toour own level.
Which is one reasonI keep harping on the idea that the Hate system is not just about holding aggro. Pets need to be able to hold aggro and survive. For the CL 80 MCH, this means he/she needs pets that are also CL 80.
