I've been searching for the better part of two weeks and no luck. I've encountered about 12 of them but no luck getting a baby.

swamp stalkers do exisist as i have two of these awesome white cats heres a screen shot i took of the last tamed one i got , coordsis where i found also http://www.imagedump.com/index.cgi?pick=get&tp=38758&poll_id=0&warned=y
gl in your search these guys are a higher lv for a novice lv 32 cat but well worth a spot in your datapad
i am on day 7 of my hunt for a greater plains hunter and have only seen 2 adult spawns

dont confuse your cats guys
there is a great plains stalker on corellia, a plains hunter on naboo, and a swamp stalker on naboo
the great plains stalker and swamp stalker both currently spawn babies, however the plains hunter has not been confirmed yet (my guess is it wasnt put back in)

I just recently found one after long searching on Naboo. I tried for HOURS in the southern area along the coast, only rarely finding a swamp stalker (maybe once every few days). Somebody here suggested I search in the area SW of Keren. I prompty decided to head there. Within an hour, I had found 2 swamp stalker spawns, and my baby.

yep, gots one on first spawn.
my theory is that they're nto so much hard to find babies of if you find a spawn, more of the fact of actually finding a spawn that makes it difficult, considering how quickly people find a baby when they find spawns.

swampstalkers do exist as babies. i was beginning to think they didnt, but after about 20 spawns, i tamed one. just look hard, you will find one. try the swamps to the SW of keren. and becareful, they will aggro your pets.

Man you guys are lucky. I've found about 6 spawns in about 3 days and no babies. How do you guys get the babies to spawn?

I got two of them but both are still to low to fight anything to good right now. The first one I tamed I was with a friend and he kept the parents out of my way so but took me about 5 attempts to get him. The second one I got tonight was just out looking for babies when I saw a few low level things with two babies out so thought exp is exp so went to tame them. Lucky for me cause out of no where I am attacked and barely made it to my speeder, lost the parents then headed back. I try 3 times and mask scent wears off and I get killed. I got the waypoints before I cloned but went back to try again. I mask scented and went up carefully got it on the first try back and it was well worth it. It is 2 levels higher and has alot better stats then my first one. I can't wait till my new one gets up in level so I can actually use him to kill something actually worth killing but atleast both of them look cool even when they die. Oh and i got both of mine on Naboo just by running around when no one was on.

Also another thing to note, the babies are yellow as of last patch so you need to scan through the yellow creatures you see on the map too, not just the reds.

Is there anyway to force babies to spawn if you find an adult?
Heres what I do when I find a lair with an animal I want to train. I kill all outside animals if no babies are present. Then I shoot the lair once just to get the animals out. Usually a baby will pop out at this point along with other grown animals.
