I actually use my tamed Gurreck as my all-around hunting pet. His resists aren't as high as the TMB or webmaster, but I find his speed and responsiveness to be far more important to me. The webmaster and TMB both primp and preen before engaging a target (with the TMB, it goes ranged first- which is ANNOYING). And both are, in general, slow. If I get into trouble with one mob and my pet is engaged elsewhere, I prefer the gurreck because I know he will disengage and fly to my side. The other two take their sweet-a$$ time and usually get me killed. Plus, I can ride on a bike and he'll keep up with me

I used to use the rancor for faction farming, but again- horrible speed and responsiveness. If I got into trouble, he'd slowly trudge over and by the time he gets engaged, it's too late for me.

There are many different style of play out there. But I throw my vote behind the Toxic Battlelord. Mine and several others have done well in the Geonosian Bio Cave...and that's about as tough as it gets nowadays. And it doesn't block everyone's view

I'm kinda of into the cats, cause they keep up with my vehicles, and don't test the patience of other group members where I would have to keep dropping camps to pull slower pets pre-battle. Bigger pets since patch 6 just keep standing on my head and or running away.

I like my combo of 2GSP's and any other lower level cat(grand wrix's, tusk cats, gurrecks whatever) I actually cheat and usea BE Narglatch as cat #3. But they are fast, and sound and look cool when attacking.

I am atwo pet hunting kinda guy. I have quite a few pets that I tag team. Usually my Toxic Merek Battlelord or one of my Gaping Spiders (I have both a Hunter and a Recluse), teamed up with my Boar Wolf or my GSP. The Spiders or the Merek make great tanks, and the GSP or the Boar Wolf aregood back up in case of adds or bad pulls. Another great team I use is my Delirious Merek Avenger and a Graul, better than the othertwo combos actually, just that even though I think Grauls look great, I am not a big fan of huge pets when hunting. Best single pet, well I usually use a BE Razor Cat now, but before that it was my Gurreck, because of the decent overall stats and the great run speed they have (I still use him sometimes with a Mottled Wrix for back up, they dont do too bad in a pinch as a team).
