Thread: do we have to spec in ranger to get an effective mask scent now to work on aggressive creatures?

Camo does not add to maskscent, it only affects the camoflauge when it is applied to the character. You need to make camoflauge kits first, and there are different kits for each planet (except Kash).


Mask scent seems to be working as it always had. It has always been alittle borked. Pre-CU, my master ranger kept having his mask scent/camo broken by low level creatures like kreetles, but rarely had it broken by rancors; but it seems to be working the same as it always has. Withtwo exceptions.


1. I think the rolls for maskscent now has been placed closer to the creatures. It used to be at 60m now I am almost on top of the creatures before I either get xp or have it broken.


2. Now when the mask scent is broken by agressive creatures, you are immediately attacked. You used to be able to not move and wait to reapply the mask.
