Thread: Good news and Bad news for CH so far.

another thing to keep in mind, if we have the health boost from lets say master rifles but not mch, when in pvp it still leaves us vulnerable to anyone with two other elites as rifle/pistol for example.
go for the ch with half the health as yours and pets are useless.

Just because you make the font bigger does not make it better! It really does not clear it up.
We receive the same benefit as Rangers then?
Sorry, I will have to think about my coments. Dont think you could get the font much bigger on an answer to another question but dont want to chance it.

That was what I was thinking. So we have half the defence and if the hate system works as indicated it might, the attacker will aggro on us anyway. So we have double the DPS (maybe) and half the defense and 1000 less health. Hmmm.

I think the hate sytem will definatly work as we think, was grouped tonight with 2 people who were melee.
i was ranged and my lvl was the highest in the group since they were both grinding nov melee. verytime i hit with 3 specials in a row, the creature would run right at me leaving the melee (tankers having to chase it. One gentleman usedtaunt to get it back fairly consistantly. but it wanted to continuasly attack me not them.
spamming of a type can still be done as long as same special isnt repeated,
I had to slow down my attacks a bit,
unless our pets can outdamage us if we have a second master combat pro then its not looking good.

Its to early into testing to say for sure one way or the other. This is the testing phase, things can and do change daily. I dont much like it either but I am going to test it myself before saying the sky is falling.

Hmmm were these creatures reacting more towared the specials or towared basic attacks? Because if you set up a /tellpet sa1 and sa2 macro, you can get pets to spam specials all day long
. That'll keep whatever your fighting very amused im sure
.

specials
I have started using 3 specials and they fire within seconds of eachother
the regular ranged special forget the name get it at nov and an improved later lol.
then aimshot and last rollshot. it works really well in a combo leaving me kneeling and delivering decent damage. using this 3 combo tech was when it would charge me. also using any two higher combos like rollshot and the one that leaves you prone seemed to attract the creature.
I slowed down waiting for the full timer to clear and would key the special and it seemed to help. although keep in mind at this point one of the other members was using taunt often.
still need more testing in groups and as joker said with pets grouped
this is the biggie it seems how will grouped pets effect it all

hey Joker this weekend when I have more time I wanna hook up with ya for a while, lets see if we can PVP a little lol
since your a man of math it might be nice to see if there is any damage reduction in pvp
I'm the weaker unit but wondering how a lower lvl pet willfair against memight be fun. hehe might as well die testing this than die by the evil durni's kikin my butt hehe
lemme know if your interested and when you will be on. I should be free most of the weekend

1. CH does not count toward player CL or Health. I have known this for a few days now since I saw a QA guy with MCH skills spawn and tame a bull rancor (baby) right in front of me and he only had a CL of 4. (He made me promise not to tell)

you know, im starting to wonder, what if the entire scout tree and all it's branching off proffesions are all being affected by the same bug that doesn't give elite masters their 1000 HP?

And you mean what by properly adressed? Are you passing the health thing or what? We kinda stumbled across the guy when we were out in the woods by pure chance as he wastaming the baby. If the QA guy is who your trying to get in trouble.
