If they were tamed on Talus, then it is the 'Greater Sludge Panther' you speak of. These will practically jump into your lap and beg you to take them home.


This thread concerns the 'Great Plains Stalker' which can be found on Corellia. Similar in appearance, but an entirely different creature.

I've only run across two Great Plains Stalkers in my life and no babies. But then I'm not a TK and two were enough to make me keep my distance


Oh and for the confused. It's easily understood. Great Plains Stalkers (GPS) are super uber-rare pets that spawn on Corellia, mostly in or around the Riverlands area. Greater Sludge Panthers (GSP) typically can be found on Talus and were once the favored big cat of just about anyone short of a MCH. I suspect the smiliarities in the naming is intentional and is an effort to teach us a lesson because we abbreviate anything longer than five chars.

Congratz. I found my first actual spawn of an adult the other day. Killed all the respawns and of course no baby. Hell, I was just happy to see a freaking adult! =)
