A couple questions from me..

1) When will the pets running from afight bug be fixed? Grauls seem to do this the most.

2) Can we please get some better pets to tame?

In no particular order...

1) BE Pets don't have an option to train ranged attack.Mine have it in the datapad, and use it in combat, but I can't train them to do it on command.

2) Ask about extinct/missing babies. Are rares supposed to be limited to the few that everyone looks for? Can the extinct come back after the creature nerf? They aren't as godly as they once were...

3) Running pets. Graul's are really bad to the point of not being usable.

4) With skill reorg, how does the ferocity work? Are non-Wookiee MCH not supposed to be able to handle 60+ creatures with high ferocity without BE cloth? Same with lower CH that can't control pets that are under their levels.

5) Inabiltiy to sell pets, except in person. Makes for a lot of spam and lag when you have 5 MCH trying to unload rancors in populated areas. My idea was for carbonite freezing in the thread below:

forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=creature_handler&message.id=154704

6) "Your Pet Doesn't Seem to Understand You" gets really annoying as an MCH. I don't need the xp, I'm not going to macro tame/train/release my pet.

7) Lair despawn - Trying to tame on advanced planets is often frustrating, because when you do find a baby, it aggros on you and you have to run away to avoid killing it, and let it settle down to tame. By the time you get it to lose aggro and go back, it has often despawned. A.K.A. "How Lund lost his widow when a neighboring Gurrek aggro'd on him... "

8) When I was a ranger, I saw CL and specials on /examine. This is really something CH would want to know.

9) Mission difficulty - Not restricted to CH, but why am I forced to group 70 levels of pets, and get someone else to join me to get the missions I can handle. Let us choose the mission difficulty.

10) Pet Size vs. Stats - Why doesn't the size of my rancor give it a combat advantage over my BE Blurrg? The skin seems to make very little difference. A rancor should be feared for it's size and strength, not laughed at for it's speed and weakness.

OH OH OH! I can't wait for answers on these!

Here are mine.

1: I posted this in another topic, so here it is again. Sorry, this one is kinda long. But I am trying topresent my case other than justasking, and having no arguement to back up my issue."Still. The point being is that this particular pet is not justified in being so rare. A +35% kinetic resist and AOE just doesn't cut it. And after spending this much time getting one, who in their right mind would sacrifice it in a PvP situation? I sure as HELL wouldn't. If this tameable had 40-45% kinetic resist, this would atleast slightly justifiy it. But seeing that as BE can make a better pet, just further negates the reasons this tameable is so rare. Rares have no purpose because the main stats of a tameable are it's armor and kinetic. Since the PvE area is the only area a CH is viable in. If kinetic and armor weren't a CH's main concern, then kinetic resists for BE's wouldn't be capped at 60% and armor wouldn't have been removed from creatures CL40 and below.

I am betting the AOE disease is their reasoning in making it rare. But what exactly does it do for you? In a PvE encounter, depending on which part of the HAM it diseases (it must be random, because the Mantigrue Screecher's is random also) it doesn't tick fast enough to matter. A MSH will kill a mind pool faster than this disease can touch it. Even with just a basic attack from any combat profession being spread out over the entire HAM bar of an enemy, it just doesn't work fast enough to make any difference because the damage being done will kill it way before the disease ever will. You really don't need to worry about an NPC or MOB healing itself. And you aren't exactly going to kill a Krayt dragon with a disease. Disease means nothing in a PvE encounter. Now if it was poison, that would atleast be a little bit of damage added to yours.

In a PvP encounter. The only thing this AOE disease would do is grief the one who catches it...if they catch it. The disease attack has to stick before the pet goes down. In a one on one encounter, it may have a chance. But in a group battle, this pet and every other pet will die before it will make any difference what-so-ever.

There is no justification in our rares being so rare other than the "That's cool," factor. And that's all we were given. A Status symbol. Of what status I am not entirely sure. It makes no sense for this tameables to be infinitely more rare than Jedi. It just DOESN'T!!!" So, why again are these so rare?

2: Will our specials be fixed, and how will they eventually function?

3: Will Rancors ever be given the respect they deserve. In the EU, in roleplaying games and books. The rancor is a feared creature that can destroy AT-ST's. I am not asking that it should be able to in SWG, butis the rancor not one of an MCH's best pets? It's pretty sad when a Roba Boar, or a CL 40 tameable (Delerious Merek Avenger) is a better pet than a Rancor CL50.

4: Why don't Creature Handlers have any viability in a PvP encounter? Creature Handler has atleast been partially considered a combat profession, hence our place in the In Concept combat discussions. Why aren't Creature Handlers considered in PvP like all other combat professions?

5: Will Creature Handlers ever get pets of a non-combat nature?

6: Will there be new mounts added again at some point, and will there be Creature Handler only mounts such as a Rancor or Ravenous Torton?

7: Will our pets ever be considered more than a meat shield? A CH's domain is PvE, however, unless said CH has a combat profession to suppliment, or groups all the time, a CH's pets just can't kill on their own, and a CH with no combat profession just cannot function in any area.

8: Is it posible for Creature Handlers to be considered a Combat/Support/Collector profession? And if so, can we have our stored pets cap raised?

9: Why are there hardly any new CL 50 and under tameables. Currently, our lack of tameables doesn't coincide with the "Non-tameables under CL 50 will be the exception, not the rule," you made. Shouldn't all creatures CL 50 and under be tameable?

10: Please tell us your idea for Creature Handlers and what they are, what they can be, and what we will be.

Thanks Thunderheart, I look forward to your replies...

/second this list, although instead of this #10, mine would be:

#10 -Can weget a CH-only pet structure such as a barn or stable to store pets at our house? Something built by architects, taking up 1 or 2lots, and holding, say, 25 pets that could be swapped in and out of a datapad at will? An EXTREMELY popular request, not only for those of us who are just collectors but also people who might want to create a zoo in a city...

Two simple questions from me even though they may or may not be answered, but here goes.

1) Will/do Malignant Squills have babies?

2) Will Khrabus/Gualamas become mounts?

1. Will pet pathing/warping/return to the datapad issues ever be resolved?

2.Will the strange pet duplication bugs be hunted down and squashed? These seem to occur at city boundaries, both NPC and player. Just this last weekend my GSP poofed to the datapad in the middle of a fight, I ran off to a nearby public building to call him, and then upon stubling upon the battle site where he poofed, his duplicate was standing there doing nothing. If I were into exploiting, I could have probably run around with two GSPs for a bit, way beyond my current call level as a gimped CH who surrendered skills for the hologrind.

3. What the heck is this 30 second timer thing that TH was refering to as part of the removal of the camping rquirement to call entities from the datapad?

4. When will powerful babies in the 50-70 range be expanded?

5. When will the specials and ranged commands be fixed to work as advertised?

6. Why can't we have a corral/zoo/paddock/kennel type building that we can add on to our homes to store pets in a fixed place? I'll willingly lose space on the datapad if I can have twice as much space to store pets at a fixed location.

7. When will we see additional creature mounts? I'm most interested in wasteland cu pa, bantha, ronto, gualama/krahbu, and perhaps the tusk cats. I'd love to be able to mount a peko-peko, but you can't have everything.

8. Please, please, please make the rancor something more than a sad joke.

9. Let's have some pets that have special game functions other than combat? How about bloodhound type pets for BHs? Entertainer enhancing cute pets like virvurs, gnorts, and rasps? Medical enhancement pets? Beasts of burden to assist with the transportation of resources? Sentry pets that augment Rangers and Scouts?

10. Please stop with the stealth nerfs. If you're going to alter the resistances of some creature, be up front about it and announce it. You're breeding cynicism among the players with these actions.

1. What is currently being considered to functionally distinguish Droid Handler from Creature Handler if that profession is to be implemented?

This will allow the CH community to feedback on the issue and proposals during the development stage.

We have lost our distinctive as the source of the best pets. (BEmake betternow.) We lost our (shortlived) distinctive as the provider of faster transportation. (Artisans make better now.)

The only functional distinctive we have atm is taming, training and calling multiple pets. If Droid Handlers tame (from deeds), train (via dropdown menu) and call multiple pets (droids), we have lost the only distinctive we have.

I would like to hear what the devs have in mind to keep CH functionally distinct from Droid Handlersso we are a functionally unique profession with desireable and unique contributionsin combat.

Hmm, verrrry interesting...

1) Is it the devs intention to replace CH, and creatures, with droids?

2) Will pets be included in the no-decay-on-death change in PvP (i.e. will pet vitality loss be taken eliminated in PvP encounters) or are CH that actually care at all about their pets going to continue to be excluded from the GCW?

3) Do the devs really consider the current rate of acquisition of higher end babies to meet a reasonable interpretation of the term 'rare', when most CH would agree that 'mythical' would be more appropriate?

4) Do the devs really consider that the current proportionofcreatures below CL50 not spawning babies meets their statement that such creatures 'would be the exception'?

5) Are the devs even aware that specials are not working unless we use hacked together macros, and that even when we do many still do not work (e.g. knockdown)?

6) Do the devs consider that CH will ever have a role outside of tanking and will we ever see creatures (wild or BE) that present a real offensive threat?

7) Will mounts ever be returned to a truly useful state? As it stands now we cannot give them away even to completely new players (seriously, I've tried as an experiment), yet we see vehicle speeds are going to be improved even more shortly.

8) Will CH ever have a static storage facility, in which we can place old favourites to live out their days in peace and/or new tames to grow up in safety?

9) Are CH now actually considered a combat profession, or are we still seen as a confused don't-really-fit-anywhere profession with reasonable PvE abilities?

10) Do the devs ever wish they had never introduced the CH profession at all, because of the balance issues it presents? (Serious question)

1. What is the current vision of the devs regarding CH?
2. Why were we nerfed to the point of irrelevance?
3. Why do our pets run off during combat?
4. Is there any way some of the last patch's changes could be reversed?
5. Can you please add more of the "rare" spawns that we were promised.
6. Can any dev honestly tell us that we are better off now?

1. Can we PLEASE get our pet specials/ranged attacks on command AS PROMISED - why give us a feature that clearly does not work? grrr frustrating as all heck

2. What happened to: "creatures under CL50 *not* having babieswill bethe exceptionrather thenthe rule"? Although we got a *few* new babies, it seems that babies from the CL40-50 range are still as hard to come by.

I only have two really - CH seems to be working fine for me for the most part.

1. PvP -- will we ever be better than useless?

2. Economics -- will we ever make money again, and how?

3. Specials -- will they ever work?

4. New mounts -- promised since before the Mounts publication, never delivered, when are they coming?

5. GCW -- pets seem completely left out of GCW design ... any chance of giving some of the large pets (which are generally loathed in group play because of how they screw up sightlines) special attacks against installations like turrets? Sort of the siege-weapon version of pets. Or possibly a "shield me" command for large pets (Fambaas, Torturs, etc.) where they would place their large body between the turret and the CH or designated player to soak up damage? (Yes, this sounds complicated, but it would make CH's vastly more useful in GCW.)

6. Movement -- this should probably be #1 ... when am I going to have to stop looking back to be sure that my creature understood that "follow" meant "keep following until I tell you to stop"? The excuses are getting old.

7. Speed -- can we get more pets who can keep up with vehicles? Really messes up group play (which you keep saying you want to encourage) to have everybody hop on their bikes to race off to the next mission while the CH pleads for time to store pets, make camp, call bike ... or store bike, make camp, call pets ... very unpopular with groups to the point that groups don't even WANT a CH to come on multi-mission hunts.
