There are way too many questions to be answered before everyone jumps for joy. remember serveyable mounts. Hello stop praising them until you hear all the facts.

Are these pets tamable?

A one shot deal for pre-orders ony?

Will they be automatiically fully trained with pre-orders or a ch needed?

If you buy the expansion in a week or month will you be able to travel there and tame babies for a ch to sell or give away?

If this is a freeby to non ch for ordering the expansion and the planet has no tamable babies then this is a ripp-off. If these things come fully trained and no ch required then they not only dont care about new tames for us but are further laughing at us.

Praise them for what? not me and judging how the past has played out I know the answer to my questions.

If i'm wrong I'l be the first to admit it, but I want info before I jump up and down and praise the consistent neglect of anything we have asked for while they cater to the whims of non-ch.

I havent seen a new baby in a year and a half, but hey give everyone a pet if they spend a few bucks extra on our expansion.

who cares about those guys ah what are they called? oh yea a ch. they will all like it too cause they're pretty stupid and will think of it a a free present for spending even more money than what they put into this game already.

if the CH Community doesn't care about the profession as a whole, but in terms of the individual, then why should the devs care.

Keep in mind its advertised as the fastest mount, the speeders were the slowest of vehicles, and normalvehicles sell unlike pets.

I googled it, and found a site that had a picture of it, sorta. It's head, looks like that of a chicken.

If they follow special on purchase tradition (Goggles, flash speeder) the pet will be non tradeable since it is labeled as exclusive content. It will probably be trained as a mountalready. And if it is like theYacht, it will not be able to be trained to attack (or be attacked?) All and all it willprobably be an interesting toy but notenough of an asset to make those who did not pre-order jelous beyond theit is not fair that (s)he has something Ican't have.SOE is just trying to give those that pre-order a little thank you, not throw the game further out of ballance.

As for going backward in time, do you think the species was totally killed off in EPIII? If not why is it not concievable that a limited number of people (those that pre-order) were able to import an exotic pet from a far away world? After all Jabba had a Rancor and they are not native to Tatooine. As for the ships they may be old but chances are they are more advanced in many aspects. In a technological scifi, military technology gets extreamly capable and complex during times of peace, during extended periods of war however numbers sometimes have to take precedence over quality. The Xwing while a fine fighter is probably cheaper and easier to mass produce and cheaper to maintain than an elegently curved andhighly sophisticatednaboo starfighter. Chances are the Xwing would carry more firepower than the NSF but the NSF could probably outmanuver and outperform the Xwing. So it would not be inconcievable that a limited number of the more advanced, although older, ships are still around for those with sufficient means to maintain them, however they would not be available in sufficient quantity to serve as front line fighters for either faction. The basic tie fighter is a perfect example of technology regressing in exchange for ease of mass production and low cost. Heck the empire didn't even bother giving them shields, they just deploy them in overwheming numbers.

I'm conflicted.

I really wanted this as a mount.

But I wanted it as a tameable, not a non-tradeable "buy the expansion and you'll get it for nothing" exclusive item that's worthless to the CH profession as a whole. If the devs follow suit with previous exclusives, as jope has suggested (giving it fully trained and mounted to non-chs yet being completely untamable), I'm going to be very disgusted.

But on the other hand...

Does anybody know if you will be able to get this mount in any other way? I hope not. And is the offer open to EU players?

So, before I pre-order RotW, I just read the interview where it said we would need to have JTL installed. I never got JTL. Does anyone know if RotW comes with JTL (think I might have read something like that) or do I need to first get JTL? Cuz that ain't gonna happen.
