I still have 10k HAM pets... five in fact, and not the bugged non-CH monstrousities, and none of them prompted me for the adjustment.

Yup, and they called just fine, their damage was adjusted up, but they still have their 10k HAM stats

Well looks like you'll be able to singlehandedly take over your server for the rebellion with 10k HAM pets with even more damage, have fun with that, I know I would of...rofl.

Yes. I grouped with the 2 giant anglers and they changed to lvl 80 also but i really didnt notice much of a change in there toughness or aggression. Also as a lark I had my MBE make a razor cat out of some Pre CU rancor dna and the results were a level 220 cat with 300-700+ damage. Right now I respec'd ch out and took m-commando just to play around with some of the new guns. ill give them another week or so to fix the bugs then decide on switching back or staying a m-rifleman m-commando w / novice tk

You got to think with a little context yes the hams were reduced on pets in the CU, but and big but ten k hams were way out of line in a system with dramatically reduced armor multipliers and buffs. In other words if the pets stayed 10k there would be no hope for any player to beat it.
There not out of line at all when you concider that im not a pvp'r I used that 1 pet to attack 5-6 other creatures with11-12k hams so between me my pet against the entire lair we were way out numbered and the odds were against us. What turned the whole thing around to my favor is the amount of damage my pet could take before the agros would come after me givng me time to hit the targets with everything I had to win the fight. And now that my pets are no match against a tortur that shouldnt be anywhere near as powerfull as a bull rancor let alone 3 times worse whats the point of having them except for delaying my demise for 3-5 sec's
I havnt been to dath yet to see how bad a rancor was but if a tortur is 140 Im not sure if I want to play with a rancor, Also if the devs were thinking that pets are too powerfull for pvp why didnt they just incert a script key into the game code that would either not allow pets to attack players or just to offset there ham and damage instead of totaly changing them to satisfy the pvp'rs and ruin the profession for the non pvp'rs

Just thought I'd add... CL is based on two things. There is a base CL for natural lairs/spawns in the wild, and there is an additional CL for like... weird spawns or for people's missions. If I take a mission for torturs and the difficulty says 99, they will likely be CL 99, even if naturally in the wild they're only... 53 or something. I've soloed CL82 rancors without my pet out,and I only have one combat profession (along with MCH)... and I've also seen CL 250+ rancors and such, it varies a lot. Usually the high-level ones are a group'smission or a fluke spawn, something I haven't figured out yet.

/agree, most of the weird level things seem to come totally from mission spawns.

ERR?? I didnt know that creature cl's were now dynamic.. Lets say a group of 8 level 80 people take a mision and get a level 140 or something like that but there are all killed or just delete the mission out of there data pad, Now is the lair still going to be a lvl 140 or whatever is was so some passer by can get eaton by or is the mission put back to what is whould be if it was a natural spawn?

And when you group with your pets, they take your level for instance, I am level 80 and my great plains stalker is level 50 but when we group up he is level 80 also. Same goes fro all my pets and even when I group up with 2 or 3. The thing is they are still prettty weak... Unlike the ones I fought in the wild at level 80.
