Thread: non-hardcore ways to make money?

Oh, I know rasps, being born on Rori... How many CPU can you charge? It's a pain to harvest them although I am master scout.
It depends on the current stats. Keep an eye on your server trade board to see what the docs are wanting and willing to pay. (On Flurry right now there seems to be a bit of a bidding war and some docs are paying up to 80 cpu for certain avian meat).
Cressida
fiberplast and steel
Get harvs on decent spawns and sell the fiberplast for 2.5 cpu on the bizzar. I clear, after maintance and such around 350k per week, thats with selling the fiberplast and keeping the steel for those who need to buy a couple 100k at a time. I also run two fusion ion generators for the power and sell off the excess.
Good luck!

Is there a way to pull Janta Missions if you are solo?
Gracie-Mae
I've never seen them solo, Gracie-Mae.
Are you aware of the "Solo" groups that form on Dant? (Quite the OxyMoron, heh?)
A "Solo" group is a large group of people that get together so they can pull really good missions off the terminals, then go their seperate ways and do the missions as if they were by themselves. This works, because if the other group members are NOT near your mission, then you get all the cash. (Don't ask me the distance.. .I'm not sure). But just make sure before you kill the nest that none of the group members on your screen show up close-by. If some ARE close by, you can disband before killing the mission for the money.

Do you know which city these groups form at?

Gracie Mae...
I always go to the Mining Outpost (rebel) on Dantooine. You dont have to be rebel to go there of course. Just stand around and yell that you want to join a Solo group. Or if there are several people standing around yelling that... Start your own!! The leader doesnt have to do anything but invite the others. And if you are the leader and want to leave, you can use the /makeleader fred command to make fred (or whoever) the leader so the group doesnt break up. I think you need about 8 people to get the highest missions... but I am not sure.
And to be honest, I don't know if, or how much, your own skill level (or lack thereof) affects your missions in a big group.
Anyone know?

What I've been doing lately is this: group your highest level pet, and go to corellia. Hit the mission terminals and take NPC missions instead of creature missions. They go down MUCH faster than creature lair targets, and you can get a good bit of cash for the missions. I've always gotten more cash from corellian missions than any other planet with the same CL missions.
With a level 34 pet grouped, I normally get apx 5.6k NPC missions and you can do 2 in around 15 min or less.
Note: this is only good for getting money, as the NPCs will give crap for CH exp.
