Imperiling fient L1 works just fine (-105 to target's defenses. You can search for a post by me detailing this).

Imperiling fient L2 does the same thing as L1.

Hamstring L1 works. Again, I have a post detailing the exact snare effect but I think it was about 40%.

I have noticed a regen difference on pets with Beastly constitution compared to those who dont. I think it helps with their endurance and also notice that after fights the pet regens very quickly. I am alarmed though that many think the special is broken and will have to look further into this.

I am play testing the ones I have found. Fleet footed works.


The following is my take on the condition of pet skills as they stand on the Eve of the Trials of Obi Wan.


My goal here is to try an explain who does what and where.


My Learned Abilities List: Name - Levels I have found- class - training point cost - description.


Green - I am Satisfied pet skill works.

Yellow - Unknown if pet skill works. Code unseen.

Red - I Agree pet skill doesn't work.

Known Suspects are in Red


AggressionL1 L2L3-Innate 5-15-45 -Increase Hate with each attack. Pet tank requirement.
Beastly Constitution L1 L2L3 -Innate 5-15-45 -Health Bar Regeneration rate increase. Regen observed.
Bleeding Attack*L1L2 -Triggered 14-32-56 -Bleed State -Enemy cannot regenerate Health for short time.
Combat AgilityL1 L2L3-Innate 5-15-45 -%chance for Critical Attack. I have seen criticals in combat.
Cowering VigilanceL1L2L3 -Innate 5-15-45 -Low Health auto defensive state. Auto trigger for Guarded Stance?
Defensive AgilityL1L2L3 -Innate 5-15-45 -%chance for Critical Save for 1/2 damage. If pet is close, I have fled.

Precision StrikeL1L2L3-Innate 5-15-45 -Increased Accuracy to hit. To hit value in stat window. Never changes.
Self SacrificeL1L2 L3-Triggered 8-24-56 -Interecept damage meant for Master. Must be standing close by.
Staggering Attack*L1L2-Triggered 14-32-56 -Stun State. State appears in HAM. Delay time next enemy attack?
Thick SkinL1L2 L3-Innate 5-15-45 -Increase Pet Armor. Defense value in stat window never changes.
Vigorous HealthL1L2L3-Innate 5-15-45 -Increase Pet Health bar value in stat window.


* I have seen effect in HAM window during combat.

**Fleet Footed Tested on Male Brackasett and Sheer Mite Soldier. Both couldn't keep up with me on a combat charge without it. With Fleet footed L2 they both had the ability to pass me up. Mounted speeds remained the same for Brackasett.


Pet Stats Window - BE Pet added stats for clarity, otherwise hidden stats in wild pet windows. Hidden Stats not seen at all.


Difficulty Level: 65

Trainable Abilities: 0

Trainable Points: 5560

Vitality: 100 / 100


Attributes - The WHO, WHAT and WHERE portion: Attacks against a stat are temporary.

Health: 5861 - Vigorous Health increases. Beastly Constitution regenerates at a percentage rate I think.

Action: -Possible Fleet Footed theory, but that would be ridiculous.

Mind: -Pets don't seem to need help here unless the battle is prolonged.

Attack Speed: 2.0- Frenzied Blitz decrease time betwen attacks. Staggering Attack increases time. Cap speculatedat1.3ec.

Pet Speed: - (meters / sec?) Fleet footed increases. Hamstring and Pinning attack decreases.

Attack Stance: - ready / not. Knockdown attacks change state.

To Hit: 157* - Never different from Defense value. Precision Strike should increase. Cap at 170? Blind state reduces.

Defense Value: 157 - Never different from To Hit value. Lightning Reflexes and Thick Skin should increase. Cap at 170?

Armor: - Would explain if used by Thick Skin. Cowering Vigilance increase. Reduced by Imperiling Feint attack.

Damage: 102 - 404 - Marring Storm and Panicked Rage Increases. Intimidation attack reduces.

State Resistance: - Imperiling Feint decreases % when attacked.

Critical Hit Chance: % - Combat Agility should increase.

Critical Save Chance: % - Defensive Agility should increase.

Aggro Bonus: - Aggression increases. Hunted Withdrawal decreases.

Special Attack 1: -Blood Seeker Mite Queenused to come with a combo equiped in it's AoE attack.

Special Attack 2:

Ranged Attack: yes / no. - Innate Pet species related skill.

Area of Effect Attack: yes / no - Innate Pet species related Skill.


* Guarded Stance might shift To Hit and Defensive values like a scale decreasing To Hit while increasing Defense value.

* Frenzied Assault and Guarded Stance should be opposing pet tricks.


Abilities

Panicked Rage L3 - The damage range above is better than a Level 70 pet with a range of 98 - 398 for this level 65 example.

( Observing Tames Last Night I noticed this is a species only characteristic and not a Panicked Rage L3 related bonus. All Kimarouths have this damage range.)


Commands

Varied by Pet Owner. Full listing not required. The commands work.


If I can describe SOE and the DEVs' design intentions, I would suspect any missing pet skill and non-functional pet special is intentional in the direction the next expansion was originally designed to have the balance of the missing content. If I were a DEV looking at job security and future employment, I would design a game that needed constant improvement with the justification for needed future expansions to finish current projects like Creature Handlers and their pet skills.


Reports of species oriented State attacks coming back are yet to be confirmed. Poison, Disease, etc. We still have skill tapes available for use as defense against. I wouln't mind seeing these attacks come back into the mix.

Fleetfooted tested on Male Brackasett and Sheer Mite Soldier. Both cases couldn't keep up with me running on a combat charge. With Fleet footed L2 trained both were able to pass me up on a combat charge. Their HAM display shows the buff and the tool tip shows what level of the buff when the mouse pointer is hovering above the icon.

So far the only inate abalities that work and show increase in stats are vigorous health and marring storm..i havent trained any pets in weeks though due to i dont want to waste any slots on things that dont work

today i trained my cl 70 bio rancor with thick skin 1 & 2 .....armor DIDN'T change....KEEP THICK SKIN YOUR LIST

I can say for sure (multiple tests) that Thick Skin DOES work on natural pets. I do not have bio-pets so I can not speak for those.

i trained rancor with 4696 armor...thick skin 1 - 4696 armor then stored ,recalled trained thick skin 2-4696 armor then stored and recalled and still has 4696 armor.

The value does not change (which is a bug), however the amount of damage taken is reduced if you compare before and after combat spam.

found FF3 too. and after 3 days of power grinding got the ability - yea


BUT when trained on a mount THE THING WAS NO FASTER THEN A FF2 TRAINED MOUNT - THE ABILITY DOESNT WORK!!!!! ARRGH
