Okay, it is a little long, but how about this? Feel free to reword it to keep the spirit:

Initially Creature Handlers were the tanks of the game. Later, melee professions got a needed boost so they could act in this capacity. With us being already balanced, we are no longer desired in this capacity since the melee professions can do a significantly better job.

The upcoming balance has us worried. We can replace the melee professions as the tank, which we doubt they will be happy about. We could share the job, however that would imply a player is as tough as a creature so there is no balance. Then there is the issue of being able stack a combat profession with pets for a huge increase in effectiveness, yet a 'pure' handler has very little combat ability. These all seem contridictory points that prevent any sense of balance. What role will Creature Handlers and their pets play after the Balance that does not cause an endless loop of rebalancing to occur?

Thunderheart: an interesting question, but one that will be looked into once we create "the sandbox" and even more examined when the CB goes to TC. Rest assured each profession will have it's purpose afterwards.

(is that vague enough while seeming to answer the question

Hehehe.

I fully expect that would be the answer. Even after the Combat Balance...

ok I know this isn't constructive but let me put all the answeres we will get to the above:

Autostore is being worked on.

Wait for the Revamp

Wait till after JTL

That isn't a bad idea we will look into it. after JTL or the revamp

There is no plans at this time to impliment anything like that.

yeah pessimestic but place your bets

NP

that issue really pisses me off though. We get a "ya know you are right" Just before patch 6, and then a well we are gonna keep putting it off till patch 10 and now the phantom "vitality change" that no one knows.

I strongly encourage folks to ask themselves the following questions before proposing a question.

1.Do you already know the answer to the question? (Can we get every creature in the game to be tameable?)

2. Is TH likely to know the answer to the question? (When can we have X feature someone came up with?)

3. Is TH allowed to answer this question. (What are all the rare tameables in the game and where can we find them?)

4. Does the answer help you play the game better? (Do you developers just hate us or what?)

If you want a usefull answer come up with a question designed to get one. Its a bad foroumn for the usual whining and begging for more features/power for your class.

/agree 100%

the problem is every issue/problem we have revolves around our loss of niche in the world and the general nerfing of the profession.

The rest are bugs that the general answer from the devs is "shrug"

what it comes down to is we don't really have a question for them that the answer isn't one of the ones I posted above.

I'm not sure if there's going to be a 19 Questions this week or not. Assuming there is, what question would we like to ask?

My question: Any plans to balance CH before the end of jump to Jedi expansion is realeased?

One of the questions that I would like to see answered is:

Is the CH profession supposed to be a support profession or a combat profession?

Certainly our role has changed, but I'm not convinced that it was intentional. I have seen many different opinions from the players but have yet to hear from a developer what their vision is. Until we have this basic design clear, I don't understand how either we or the devs can make the proper changes to our profession.

We are doing the 19 questions, but it needs to be kept lightweight this week. How does something like the following sound?

"There is an item called "incapacitation recovery" for petsin the Publish 9 patch notes. No one can figure out how to access this, or what it's supposed to do. Could you tell us exactly how tomake use ofthis ability, and whether it's actually working on Test Center as advertised?"

Sounds fine with me.

Personally I'd rather know if Frenzied Grauls and other creatures that are tagged as tameable truly are but no biggie.
