I just got CM4 so I can train mounts and I was just wondering if making them a mount decreases their abilities or stats in any way. Will they still fight the same if they are a mount? I have a BE kaadu that is good in a fight and I was thinking about making it a mount as well. I just don't want to mess up a good thing. What do you guys think?

I've got a dewback, a savage humbaba, a giant carrion spat, and a wasteland cu pa all trained as mounts.

Their fighting skills, once I'm not riding one of them, are undiminshed from before the time they were mounts.

In fact, I used my GCS to reaccumulate XP when I retrained Empathy I a few months back...still kicks butt for a CL 12 critter.

yea the only thing different about mounted pets is that if you are on the mount, it cant attack. Keep in mind though that you can attack while mounted on a pet. other then that there is no difference.
