many times i've wandered around endor without buffs or armor with only my pets as protection... only time i died was when a blurg raptor got me (they've got nasty teeth and even worse breath)... now the fun part is when dises eats all of your health bar and you're stuck walkin 10k to get back to the starport... but that was long ago when cretures were mean, no mounts were heard of then...

ch can be played without buffs... as any old school rifleman will tell ya... way back when buffs were unheard of, warping mobs, and 2.5 melee damage mod... but we did have our trusty bone armor at least a peice or 2 of it...

I can just see a "Wait for the Combat Revamp" and "Wait for the Smuggler Revamp" quote all rolled into one.
