My earliest pet I have ever kept is my Frenzied Graul, Balrog. I kept it for a LONG time and its still here. One time I was fighting with Balrog andI found an Enraged Kimogila and I tried to kill it but i got incapacitated. Then Balrog started to fight it and with all of his might, he killed it. I just said wow that is a powerful graul. I'm never deleting Balrog

Hewy, Dewy and Lewy - my GSPs - there was nothing better than having all 3 out together (when that was possible) - we were just about invincible - Moe, Larry, Curly and Shemp - my graul maulers - still use them

I have been a CH since days after release. My oldest pet is Spike, a Malkok. Given to me as a baby by a BH on Lok. I was a novice medic and followed him around while he killed Snorbles for xp. I would heal him then harvest the hides for xp. When I got enough xp for Novice he snuck it into my datapad with transfer. I used to be afraid to call it every day. lol I did not know at the time how big they got.

The next ones are A,B, & C. Three Grand Wrixes that I used for just about everything. All were self tamed. It was alot different back then. lol

Then there is my TMB, NasTBoneHead. I was DB'd no less than 10 times trying to train it. This was before mounts and bikes and meant a 1500K run through alot of Nasties just to try again. It took me 22 tries until it was tamed. It was my first and before the Tame/Train restrictions. I do not think I was very high in the taming tree at the time. lol

Barbie-Q my first mount. It is a Greater Carrion Spat.

I am a MCH and only have 6 slots I use for "working" pets. The rest are sentimental pets. I still call them and remember when CH was fun. I used to be a Master Weaponsmith and have a collection of guns a wall of my house. These too have sentimental value. I wish I could do the same with my pets before I give it up.

I still have my Giant Dalyrake that I have had since about October. I have gone up the ladder some, but seem to still retain him through thick and thin.

I still have my first pet, Cliaron, the weak ass dalyrake. He owns Corellian butteflies. Still 100/100, I will never use him in a situation that is dangerous. Too precious for me to loose 2 points of vitality. Not a bad starting CH pet if you ask me

I have my rock beetle. Vit in the 80's I have fought, Kyrats, Dragonetns, Rancors, and Mountain Squills with him. Of course that was when it still had AR1. Now my kimo or Mountain dewbacks, greater desert Womp rat combo takes its place.

It's kind of hard cause I had to let some of the early ones go to make room for better. There were sting and stingtoo (spineflap guard and handmaden) Got lots of good xp from those 2. Would send them in early or late. If early they incapped but recovered before the MOB died. If late was to get a hit in on the weak mob jsut before death. There was Jaws my Peko Peko. Great for finding me in a croud. There was Claw my Graul. Vitality below 90 had to go . Now that I have a stable collection I suspect that the 2 GSP's I tamed (along with 5 other GSP's that day) just before mounts came out are my current favorites. They have been with me the longest and when ever I go walking in the wild I feel safer with Mr'Smith and Mr'Wesson at my side. Even though after all the rebalancing they are not very good protection they still look mean

My newest choices are going to be 2 BE razor Cats that will be my alternate for tough areas like endor. But when walking around Naboo (my home) I will most likely have Mr'Smith and Mr'Wesson walking with me. (when they don't get stuck or autostore )

ahhh, great post Shigatsu, I was just talking with a buddy about the same thing yesterday.

My oldies:

- my demon-llama -- or rather, guallama --Kuzco. Only 1300HAM, but with approx. 15/25 kinetic/energy resist I still use him most of the time for killing small beasties.

- Siegfried, my naboo tusk-cat, and the first creature I ever tamed. We've been everywhere, Siegfried & I. He alone is the reason you see so many Master Magicians nursing serious bleeding head-wounds in the medical centre, especially those named "Roy".

- Frank, my giant grey leviasquall who insists on telling me that the world will end in 24:6:42:12.

- and "Lucky", a.k.a. Citizen Snips, a red bloodsucker mite found on Endor whilst running for my fragile life from a pack of mantigrue night-stalkers. As I'd JUST outdistanced myself from them, with my burstrun wearing-out at the peak of a mountain with the sun in my eyes, some very Gandalfian player named something like "TheWhite Wookie" was in the process of taming a baby mite... we started talking, and I was amazed at the mite's 70% energy-resist and 100 to others. He'd gotten the lair's only baby, but pointed me in the direction of another.

Good to see such a positive post in this forum. Reminds me why I got into CHing in the first place. Thanks, guys.

My GSP, Googly-Bear.

I found him way back before the great nerf and he served me well all the way up to MCH. After the nerf I rarely use him in combat since I favor a pair of 35th level BE'd kitties. But I still call him out when I go on cross country trips through starting planets atop my trusty mount. The 3 of us just have a good time soaking in the sights and remembering better times. *sigh* Okay I do all the remembering, since they're just toons, but allow me my delusions.

My Mountain Dewback, Hoss.

I still use this guy all the time since I tend to avoid using vehicles (got a T34 but I only use it when I'm in a hurry). In combat he's pretty much a iability so I tend to put him away and bring out Hugs 'n Tugs (my BE'd kitties) but he's still one of my favorites.

I have a bol name of clyde a be friend made and gave me way back in the day. One of my 1st pets. couldn't even train mount on em when I got him. I use clyde everyday on missions, gave him different commands so I can dismount and park him out of harms way as he has a tendency for agro and jumps into the fight. Couldn't part with the old boy nor stand to see him killed. Be like losing a best friend , the heart of being a CH.
