Ok, then I will report about yesterday. I used to solo as a CH like everyone else does, but I come from EQ and grouping was a real blast over there. So, I thought myself "Dantooine is boring, let's try Dath again". And what did I see there? People who wanted to group (non-solo). I happily accepted the grouping offer and after getting some enraged rancor mission we started the fun. I really can tell it was a blast. In first place I wanted the CH exp and the rifle exp, so I put out first my mountain dewback. After the first kills (exp is great) we had our first death in the group. So I decided to store my dewie and get out my graul. It was the first time I actually used him against such strong mobs. Everytime someone was going low on ham I sicked my graul on the mob and tried to get him the aggro. Most of the time it worked and the graul is a really good tank. Even one time two enraged rancors was beating on my "little" graul but with the help of my pet stims we made it.
It was really nice and together with the group chat time was too fast over. Im really looking forward to my next hunting groups and I hope more people will do this.
And nothing was more satisfing than seeing my pet saving someone's ass. That time I really was proud to be a CH and gave my graul a big hug (heh)

You know I had heard somewhere from a Star Wars Junkie I think, that legend has it that Grauls where originally Bio-Engineered to combat Rancors!!!! Somehow the Star Wars lore explains how they escaped to the wild and have pro-created ever since. But yeah I love to hunt Rancors, I can solo them when i use both of my grauls, and of course my rifleman skills. You will notice the Grauls really don't take too much damage against them big uglies. I had no idea that it was easier to find a group on Dath. As a MCH/MRM I have posted on almost every relevant board offering to take those who need it, out hunting, while using my pets to tank. The only response I got was from an apprentice Squad Leader trying to get xp. (note to self to contact that guy) .

1st time i've really used it myself. pet lv doesnt matter as they're still under your control.
