Sky and jope.
Your posts reminded me of how many times I paid for training from the trainer. CH in the beginning for me was lonely on Valcyn.

Happy trails Sky ....
Not sure when my posting privileges will end here, my 10-day visit to Theed, City of Chirping Crickets ended yesterday. Probably come back again in around 5 months and 28 days to see if Kzin got character wiped and if there's been a smidgen of progress on fixing the game.

No talon lol had I finished that letter it would have became one long rant. But those early days spent with you were fun. And you too have always told it like it is so these later days have been filled with intuitively knowing that CH cannot fail with great CH's still around.
My Grandmother confided in me last year that at age 95 looking at her narrowing XMAS list is quite depressing. There is a comparison there, I will leave it to you imagination to figure it out.
Kzin, Sky, Tivo, Seiryuu, Freth, Fantoq, Meroc............
You will be missed.

I really don't want to give up CH, so I just don't play that toon too much anymore--if I did, I probably would have quit long ago. I have it doubly bad--CH creatures nerfed, and BE process bugged--and my own CH community hates BE--go figure...like I said, I had to take a break or go elsewhere and never return. The distraction of using another toon is ok, but I still find myself strolling thru the CH threads looking for a glimmer of hope. I don't post nearly as much as others, although I've been a CH since Nov. '03--I had a month of usefulness and then came our glorious pre-balancing--but sometimes, when things rub me the wrong way, I have to say something. I can't remember the last time I answered someone's question on these boards to be helpful--it's always in defense of BE or some other cause that no one else seems to care about...it can be frustrating--so I understand so many elders quitting the boards, or the profession,or even the game. Gonna miss the outspoken ones, cause they keep me from having to say things--and taking the heat! So now Skypreacher1 takes a bow, and I doubtsky'll be the last. It just irks me that Vert, or the devs, could throw us a bone and at least let us know what happened in Austin regarding our profession--so that maybe we could see a light at the end of the tunnel....the fact that they haven't, makes me fearful that theyhave notcome up with a way to make our profession useful yet. We want the combat revamp to happen, right?--but guess what, if CH is still a second class fighting, support, and money makingprofession afterwards--well, if you think things here arenegative now.......
