That is special for the test center cause time is short. Actual grow times on live servers is about 7 days (Unless they are actually changing this in patch 20)-Indene-

creatures that spawn from missions most of the time are not at their normal level.also, im not 100% about this, but i think its possible to come across mission spawns without having a mission for them
i've got a slightly related question though - is it possible for pets to grow (in size, not CL) bigger than their wild counterparts? i think i read something about that in one of the outdated resources that come with the game, and a friend of mine said he saw a giant cu pa walking around, but since feeding doesnt affect growth i cant figure out what would

i dont know how to edit my message, but i think it might've been a wasteland cu pa, if those are any bigger than regulars

One of my friends is a master BE and she says that the higher leveled test tube, err BE pets tend to be bigger then their wild counterparts. She has a couple woolanders and one is a level 65 and the other is 48 that she made and one is huge the other is not as big but bigger then the wild counter part.

A somewhat related question ... I was given a pre-CU pet that had (AFAIK) never been tamed, just used as decoration. It had a sentimental value to the person as it was the guild mascot of his old guild which quit following the CU. I decided to use it and got a message about converting it which I clicked merrily away at without reading (hey! I was fighting!).
Anyway it says that creatures maximum level is 74. Would that mean it will go to CL70 and stop going any higher? Or that it will reach 74 and sit in my datapad unusable? I certainly won't delete it because of the sentimental value it had to my bud, but it seems a shame if I won't be able to use it.

I believe that your critter will end up being level 74 when it's finished growing. Is the second number in the parentheses 74? Like 19(74)? If the paren'd number is 74, then yes, it will become 74th level.

Wasteland cupas are twice the size of regular and were once considered a kinda rare pet they dont spawn very often kinda like gurreck babies pre 19
and also would like to note tc is set up for accelerated pet growth has been for a long while
