One of my friends is a master BE and she says that the higher leveled test tube, err BE pets tend to be bigger then their wild counterparts. She has a couple woolanders and one is a level 65 and the other is 48 that she made and one is huge the other is not as big but bigger then the wild counter part.

If you tamed the baby, what was the level on the adult bol standing near to it? Usually the baby grows to the same level as the adults in the lair with the same name type as them. Example, Seething Bol Crusher (baby), grows up to be the same level as a nearby Seething Bol Crusher.

You don't have to feed them. I believe that feeding them healed action or health wounds, and that making them do tricks healed mind wounds for pets.

The way to get them to grow up is to log on your Creature handler alt. It doesn't matter if you feed them, or hunt with them. Just log in. It usually takes about a week, if you log on every day for them to reach maximum level.

Thank you so much! So just look at the Lair I get it from and I should know the max level then, right? One other question is if I don't take CH can I but from and BIO-Engineered pets that are LvL 10 and below? Say tell them to attack and what not or are those commands only for CH?

You will need a CH to train a BE'd pet for you. Once the pet is trained, you can use any of the commands that it has been taught by a CH.

Most pets have a detailed description of what level they will become.
What I have noticed in my month (Has it been that short?) of being CH:
1) The starting level of a creture is 1/10 (round down, minimum of level 1) of its maximum level. So, in your example, the level 3 Bol baby will grow to be at least level 30.
2) If you highlight the pet in your DataPad, you will see "Difficulty Level: X(Y)", where "X" is one number, and "Y" is another number. "Y" is the maximum level the pet will reach, and "X" is the pet's current level.
3) Usually, pets will be more agressive when they are hungry. For example, I had a pet with me hunting, the other day. I usually tell it to attack the creature, to draw it away from the lair, and then call it back. When I called the pet back, the pet would come towards me, but then advance back towards the creature. After defeating the creature, I fed my pet and it obeyed my commands. Any food is sufficient for a pet. If you have it, using the Forage skill is the easiest way to find food for your pet (and yourself).
4) Until recently, my pets grew an average of 1/10 the maximum level per twelve hours (I think). However, my pets now seem to grow dependent upon how often I have them out and how much I use them. (For some reason, the Rill I gave a friend is still "Difficulty Level: 1(2)", despite having tamed it nearly a week ago.)

Other basic:
Pets cannot be 'healed' from incapacitation and you must use the radial menu's "Incapacitation Recover" option to revive the pet. From that point you may heal your pet like normal.
Pets that are normally agressive when fully grown in the wild are more difficult to tame and train.
A pet will tend to learn a command after no more than four tries. (at least from what I have seen, thus far)

I realize this is probably a lot of repetition of what has been said on the guides and FAQs, but I wanted to share what I have experienced and learned.

One thing I have noticed since the last incap... errr... I mean patch, is that pets do get black rot very slowly if you don't feed them. Had a couple of noobies almost in tears outside a spaceport a couple of weeks back because their babies had half black rot on the health bar. Passed them some spare travellng biccies for their pets to nibble on, and it went.

Did an experiment with my 3 girls and also my rep flyer on Wookie World (TM) and it does seem to happen!

Just something to look out for

That is special for the test center cause time is short. Actual grow times on live servers is about 7 days (Unless they are actually changing this in patch 20)
