I just finished grinding out my CL65 Varactyl. I mounted at around the third or fourth leveling however it started growing just before pub 22 (or is it 21 I can't remember when all this changed now). Anyway lots of fun 8 slots of abilities and a tough scrapper. I loved being in a group then when someone dropped out I would group my vara (its name is Spikey) just to hear someone ask me ......"where do you get a CL65 varactyl?!?!?. Love it. I am also going to try my mawgax since it is half grown and has eyegauge L2. I think it would be a cool mount if it is possible, but all mounts pale in comparison to the CL65 varactyl, I would never find a better mount. I am going to put vig health L2, agg L2, Imp Feint L2, eyegaugeL1 and something else I just don't know yet.

umm, btw.... does fleet foot 1-3 increase ur pets speed also when u r riding it?

All studies on that question say no. I have tested it using bolotaurs as my test mount. One with ff2 one without any ff and they are both the same speed on average. Oh one thing I did find interesting the bolotaur is nearly as quick as the varactyl except when running, but galloping and walking they compare. Surely doesnt feel like it when your on that big thing.
