Ok.. I have a question. I'm relatively new to the CH profession, but I have a problem. I'm only 1 1 0 1, but to date I've been able to transfer critters to my friends they could use. Yeah.. with my limited number of commands I can't give them a fully trained pet, but it's useful to them anyway. Now last night I tried to pass some pets to friends new to the game, but it kept cancelling, and they were getting the message that "the pet doesn't know the transfer command".

Is this a joke? We now have to get up to Management 4, or have someone that IS at Management 4 train our pets in order to sell them or give them away? Its odd in that two of my older pets were able to transfer, but two of the newer ones couldn't. ALSO.. new babies could be traded through the datapad too. Am I going nuts here?

any creature level 15 or lower can be transfered without knowing the transfer command. this is supposed to only be non-aggressive creatures, and maybe it is, i don't know for sure.

any creature above level 15 must know the transfer command. yes, you must have management IV to sell creatures to your fellow CHs unless they're of the non-CH variety.

I just got CM IV last night. How does the Transfer command work, anyway? Do I just click on the target CH and say the command. or do I still use the secure trade window? If the trade window is used, at what point do I have to say the command?

You teach the command to your pet like any other.

Call the pet out of your datapad.

Click (target) the person you wanna tranfer it to.

Then say the command & poof it goes into their datapad.

Once your pet knows the transfer command, you can use the secure trade window with it.

You can do both ways...secure transfer or transfer command.

If you use the command you just target the person whom you want to transfer pet to and use the command.

If you use trade window, you don't have to use the command.

What's the deal with the transfer command? Cause if i trade a pet in a trade window than the pet is tranfered as well.

So what's the difference?

You can only trade lvl 15 and under pets without the transfer command.

As long as the (over CL 15) pet knows transfer command it can be traded by trade window or using the actualy transfer command.

If it is under CL15 it does not need to know the transfer command.

Whats the deal with this command. I know that only higher CHs can train it, but there are other conditions affecting transfer.

For example, I had to get an MCH to make my recently tamed Spat mountable and was able to give it to him via trade window. So what are the rules on this overall?

anything level 15 or less and not agressive can be traded without being taught transfer. this goes off the ADULT level of the creature, not current level.

after the changes it is going to be level 10 and not agressive. I'm guessing you notice the pattern, any non-CH pet can be traded without the transfer command.

Why would they make you become a master CH before you can transfer a pet? I mean with all the changes after the last patchnot many people have pets anymore and are limited to the ones they can use as non CH.
