Thread: Top Five Issues with the Creature Handler Profession
Ok, I have only seen this post once i think and it really needs to be addressed more.
* Missions - Being a master ch with minimal pistol skill only gets you newbie missions. This is bull. To make a gun work you need to pull the trigger. To make your pets attack you need to tell them to. No difference, it takes skill to accomplish both things, so both, not just one should yeild harder missions.
* Faction Points - When using a pet to attack an NPC of apposing factions you get barely any faction points for the kill, half if your lucky! Just like above, takes skill to use a pet just like it does to use a gun, so why are we shorted the points?

To give us more storage space, they could at least do this:
Change the datapad storage from 16 pets to 800 total CL. (800 CL is 16 CL 50 pets, so nothing would change there.) That way we could keep our 16 minimum pet slots but if we wanted to sell lower level pets or just have a few more lower level pets, we would have a reasonable cap. Or something ![]()
1. Pet auto-store
2. When fighting, my pet ( usually a GSP) likes to run about 150m from me with the aggro in tow, it's all I can do to keep up with the fight and usually when I catch up at least 2 more creature lairs have joined the fight against my pet.
3. general pet AI. I know this is one that might be hard to implement but I wish my pet would attack the creature with the lowest dmg and not switch targets mid fight.
4. Pet stop following. I actually destroyed one of my pets for doing that.
5. Major annoyance=I have to open the radial circle 5 times for the "call" option to appear, although sometimes it's 6.
