Thread: Petition: MASTER CH'S WANT ALL CREATURES UNDER 70 TAMABLE

Yes this game needs more uber pets. /sign
I want to see 100% resists on everythign with AR3 pets. Get them in game now! Time for CH to take back its role as GOD
The trolls are coming out of the woodwork now that the DevTracker is pointing them here.
You guys are not getting the point -
The last patch spread the taming level skillmod throughout the profession so that "dabblers" wouldn't have too much power.
When that happened, it became clear that the Novice CH's would gain pet levels 2 or 3 at a time, but the number of tamable pets was/is limited and there isn't enough variety/availability of pets to justify small incremental changes in the CH's abilities as they progressed thru the profession.
At the same time, the creatures were all "rebalanced" so that the "level" was supposed to be an accurate measure of a pet's worth.
With that, before the last patch, TH promised that when the rebalance was complete the available creatures which were NOT tamable would be the exception rather than the rule.
But this has not been the case. Wewant TH's statement to bare out in reality.
Please try to understand what you're talking about before you come here and make your trollish uninformed statements.

Why should they be spawning babies? That single list is MORE than the number of droids a DE can make.

This is not about the debate between BEs and CHs, this is the plain and simple fact that these creatures SHOULD be spawning babies.
That's totally irrelevant to the current discussion. The Droid Engineers won't likely receive any more business from the CH community on the basis of rarer wild pets.
Most of the CH's I know are either quitting the profession or just short of doing so because for the last set of changes all of the perks were overhyped and all of the nerfs were sandbagged. Our profession has nothing whatsoever to do with droids. Go complain to someone else because it simply doesn't belong here.

I still don't really see a valid reason why CH's need more pets right now, given the entire selection you have now.
My comments are in blue.

Ackis -
you have to realize that the reason why we don't seem to get your point, is because your statements veryclearly demonstrate that you dont understand the issue yourself.
You keep thinking "those guys have a lot of pets, why are they complaining?"
Yes, that's part of what I'm thinking. Another part of it has to do with the recent BE change, which opened up a lot more possibilities for CHs.
Since you're not a Ch, you're not getting all of the back-ground on this issue. Instead, you follow the devtracker here and start trolling.... hardly going to get us to agree with you that way.
How can you consider my posts trolls when I posted truths? I was not the one who posted that we all need AR3 100% resist pets. Honestly, it seems that anyone who disagrees with an opinion is considered a troller.
You have to understand that we see the profession from a historical perspective. We are familiar with every promise ever made, every argument, every creature, etc etc etc.
I am familiar with the class because I was quite interested in the changes that were made (what you call the big nerf). The fact that there's this thread which DEMANDS more pets for the CHs shows that you, as a class are not aware of the other classes history, at least generally out there. Of course, I'm more familiar with DE history than any other profession and you probably know some of that (ie: nerf, nerf, nerf, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, etc). As well, I'm picking up more history as I'm reading about BE (because of the close relationship with the CH profession).
You come here with no history, no knowledge and troll away - then you wonder why we dont get your point.
To give you some back ground:
We were told that the reason for the limited number of tamable species originally had to do with the "balance" of the profession. If you were a ch, then you got certain pets at Tame level 1, certain pets at Tame level 2, certain pets at Tame level 3, etc... (alot like you go from CDEF at level1, Scout, FWG5, DX2 etc.)
I would not call the number of different pets availible to you limited to be perfectly honest.
But then that changed with the last patch - instead of havingdiscreet taming levels (15, 25, 35, 40, 50, 70) you now have EVERY tame level from 12 to 50 is possible, and a jump to 70 at master.
I'm aware of that.
With that the creatures were supposed to be rebalanced so that their CL was reflecting their worth.
I'm aware of that also, with the noteable exceptions of the bugged BE pets (ie: uber bunnies).
As such, we were told (by TH) that the number of creatures NOT tamable over level50 would be the exception.
Instead, creatures that were previously tamable are no longer tamable (in direct contrast to what we were told to expect)
Not really sure what you're saying here, however I can infer that you thought that you'd have a nice large selection of CL 50+ creatures to play with, and instead only have a few, whereas before you had many.
The best pets were removed - we're not asking for something new, we're asking for something old.
One of the points I'm saying is that there might be (and probably is) a good reason why they're removed. Game unbalancing seems to be the dev buzzword.
Now, we're frustrated beyond belief at the wave after wave of nerfs to our profession.
I feel your pain. DE has never worked, and we've only received nerfs and lies.
BUT NOBODY HERE HAS ASKED THE DEVS TO NERF YOU!
I'm NOT saying NERF CH! Not one post in this thread has stated that (by me).
Is it too much to ask that CH's can petition the devs for changes to their profession without trollish comments from Non-CH's?
Again, anyone disagreeing with you is considered a troll? This issue would effect the whole game, because before you had **edit** wars and now you don't (step in the right direction). Giving ultra-uber pets to CHs again would be going back to where it was before, and result in another nerf to the CH profession down the road.
Take your problems with the devs up with them on your on profession forum.
We have, are and will. And we will continue to get ignored.
Stop coming here without knowing what your talking about making inflamatory statements towards this profession.
How is what I said inflamatory? Look at the basics. The CH class is one of the most well-defined classes in the game. You cannot argue with that. It became the flavour of the month profession for many, and was considered overpowered (I agreed with the concept that to get the benefit from the class, younever really needed to master the whole profession).
It's unbelievable to me that people who play different professions would concern themselves so much with this one.
CH was so prevalent before the "nerf" bat, that it does affect a lot of professions out there.

Ackis..
...i guess its just that myself and others are confused as to why you are posting here? do u have issues with the CH profession for the DE profession? if it is DE (whether u think it needs work or whatever, or have ideas for it...) then u should be in the DE forum. you've added nothing constructive for the CH thread xcept 'quit whining, DE's should be the focus now'. if that's how u feel, it should also be in the DE forum, and not in this thread.
i am with you in believing that DE's need a huge amount of dev love(which they are getting over the next TWO patches if you havent been paying attention. but if i had something to say about i would not post on a CH thread..kinda defeats the purpose. this is why you are seen and are acting like a troll to everyone. i would not ask for the DE's to be nerfed nor igored, dont do that to the CH's. both have legitamate and separate issues.
They gave all of our money earning capacity to other professions, and made certain that our most valued skill was WORTHLESS. We enjoyed going into the wild and dangerous places to bring back cool and awesome creatures that we could use - wether to sell or to do battle.
There is no point in being able to tame anything now, since BE has a lock on all worthwhile creatures and can charge an arm and a leg for them. Wouldn't you hate it if your Parents took all your cool die-cast metal toys away and gave them to your brother? Wouldn't you hate it if they gave you cheap plastic ones in their place?
That's how we feel about what was done to us, so Ackis, we'll thank you to keep your ignorant mouth shut about this issue. You are pouring salt on open wounds, and it will not endear you to anyone in this profession.
Personally, I think this petition is a foolish waste of time. The extinct pets, if they ever are returned, will still be nerfed into uselessness by the Devs to keep the Care-Bears and Nerf Herders like Ackis happy, and will only be worthwhile to show off to other CHs. No one else gives a rat's ass about what kind of pets you can call unless they shake the ground too much, make lots of racket, or just get in the way because they are so damned big. Now that we've been sufficiently nerfed, no one thinks of us as anything but a 'Non-Starwarsy'(idiotic phrase) annoyance that by all rights should be eliminated from the game completely.

These are extinct? I wanted one and asked my ranger friend to keep an eye out for them if they spawned babies. When i asked, he said that he had seen one on Area Track earlier. It wasn't recent, so i couldn't go verify, but he swears he saw a baby.
I hunted for 10 days straight, over 700 kills, 100+ lairs. Not one baby. Unless your friend has a screenshot then I don't believe it. Most likely he saw a male or female brackaset baby and thought that was it. I had a couple of people drop me /tells saying the same thing only torealize they had made a mistake.
