DeneziB,

This is why you have no clue, WOOT i am a packmaster. Big hairy, I have been MCH since late August. 500 people are telling you it's a bug, you say no no it isn't a bug it's your imagination, it's the pattern of the game. DUH. Like we are all having this problem and you say no no it isn't real.

You post nothing new. Your arguments are cyclic, well if you grief a jedi, tsk tsk, (you must have a jedi character and got spanked eh). I also can almost guarantee that you have been beaten by a CH at some point,so you have a nerf the CH mentality. I have beaten guys not with my pets but with my flamer, the other day a fellow imperial wanted to fight my arachne webmaster, I said fine, i spammed the special attacks and he was going down. You know what he said, UNFAIR, I didn't help the pet at all, not at all and he was going down, I didn't heal my pet, he was healing himself all the time, going down. Incap, I call the pet off end the duel, heal him and he says "You are too powerful", yeah well when you are a novice brawler what do you expect.

Finally you sound like the mouthpiece of the Devs. We have problems, 90% of us are having problems, you come on and say woohoo look at me, I am a packmaster I am not having a problem. Well guess what, you don't have a clue because you have never put yourself and your pet in a position where you can both die fast, by what you have said, i only attack small mobs.

Lastly I finally figured it out. The Devs will nerf every profession, down to our level, Swordsman are going next with the reduction and nerfing of warcry, the TKA etc. When everyone is "rebalanced" nerfed that is, we will appear "More powerful" and the next set of nerfs will start. And people like DeneziB will be here telling us, NO you are all wrong. There is no bugs, take another toke of weed and you will see it just like i see it.

I guess our biggest problem is nothing has been fixed, the bugs we had when we started are still here, plus the new ones, plus the nerfs, we been here from the start and it's a little hard not to look back and see how much fun we used to have and then be expected to just shut up and take the bug bat, the nerf bat and the stupidity bat from people like DeneziB who has no clue.

So again DeneziB, Blow it out your ear, if you can't come up with a new argument other than the stupid Jedi freaking grief thing, don't talk. We can't grief no one now. Tell you what take your level 30 pets out to a rancor lair and go for it, don't use any of your skills, tell me how much fun you have. We use to say attack, they attacked, and they stayed right where we asked them. Now because of the combat adjust bug, we say to a pet attack, sometimes he attacks, 50% at least he begins to "run", 20% of the time he goes poof. The only way I have seen a pet stick lately is getting it to attack the lair. You sound more like the doofus Devs than a player.

Like I said before, wait till the nerf bat hits all the rest of them, then CH will not be the only one with 160,000 plus posts flaming the Devs. Of course maybe that's what the Dev's get off on.

....and then no matter how hard we get nerfed, we still keep CH because we are still some of the coolest characters on the game.

Let's give-in to all the CH's who insist that their pets are their weapons by allowing them to call and store pets at will, anytime, anywhere, even in combat, just as a commando can swap through weapons instantly. Since commandos cannot fire off a flamer AND a LP at the same time (he can only have one at a time) nor can a combat medic toss poisons and fire off a rifle at the same time, then the CH would have to hold something like a leash or a whip in his hand whenever a creature was out, and if a CH wanted to fire a rifle, he'd have to put the leash away which would automatically store the pet.

Myabe you should pay attention to what we are saying. Let me break it up into some bullet points to make it easier for you-

  • We DONT want to be able to call pets instantly ANY time or ANY place.

  • We DO want to be able to call pets instantly IN camps, IN cities or IN our declared residence (just like we're able to do now).

  • We actually like the ability to call pets/vehicles in the wilderness WITH a 30 second when we DONT have a camp (however this wouldnt be needed if autostore wasnt a problem.

All we want is to keep functionality in camps as they are without making 30 skills points (in scout and ranger survival lines) WORTHLESS. We also dont want to be penalized for poor coding (autostore bugs).

We can already call pets instantly in camps, cities or our delcared residences and all we ask is that this functionality remains.

If you still dont understand this, please hit yourself hard with a sledgehammer to save me the effort.

I already quit, just waiting for my subscription to run out. The game is boring and buggy, and the devs are not going to get the game close to fun for at least a year (probably longer the way they listen to the players). My money will not be going to SOE any longer. Thanks for letting me pay for beta SOE but the pleasure has been all yours. Ex Master Creature Handler.

That ignorant ALYSSANDRA Bio Engineer TKA band wagon jumper Flavor of the monthover priced shop keeperneeds to understand that a 30 second timer is a long time for someone to pull out thier weapon/armor. Here is a list o things that the CH has to deal with after a 30 second timer is installed (mind you we deal with then now. only we dont have a 30 second timer)

1. Disapearing pets (durring combat, durring travel, at the worst times you can think of)

2. Pets lag behind and sometimes mine accually warp behind (Endor seems to have this issue really bad)

3. Pets run around all over durring combat sometimes over 100m away and DO NOT RESPOND TO COMMANDS.

Taking away the 30 second timer would make it so we could call pets anywhere as long as not in combat. There is nothing at all wrong with doing that and that is what WE requested. THe community as a whole (majority) is angry that we requested something and are then given something to counter our request. As in most other published patches CH has been slapped with yet another restriction.

dont say get a combat class.

You have to know that CH accually takes skill points as well... if its not a combat class, not a crafting class the what would you say CH was?

Our point is that a 30 second timer is POINTLESS!

Been there... Done that..

Answer: Yes, if they pulled out the ATSTs 100 meters out, then the Jedi would still be out of range from being attacked by PCs. When the Jedi sees the ATST, he could withstand a couple of hits from it while running away. However, if the ATSTs were instantly pulled out when the PCs were also in range, then he'll have to withstand attacks from 6 fronts ... and his escape route is effectively taken away.

However, this single scenario is not an argument in itself as to why it is wrong to NOT have a 30 second timer. There are many, many, many unfair, griefing scenarios that are possible if there wasn't a 30 second rule. I'm sure if you remove the 30 second rule, 300,000 players will find out the myriad of possibilities to create unfair combat situations -- Pokeman style.

And finally ... 30 seconds is not a long time to wait. I'm still astounded by the people so bent out of shape over 30 seconds ... it's like, less than a minute.

Hold it, DeneziB must be TH in disguise! (S)he used both myriad and poke-mon in the same response.

And the only response is a lame grief that 30 seconds or 30 minutes won't stop anyway. I'm the one planning the attack. I have the luxury of time since my target has no idea what I'm doing 50M away. As said, I call the pet, droid, whatever, and mosey up as if I'm checking out the scenery, then Bang. (If it were me and my pet, the bang would be us being killed). I think the 30 seconds will create more unfair situations than it will eliminate since the opponent won't know I called the pet 25 seconds ago anyway.

30 seconds is a long time when my pet autostores or breaks follow, or takes off 200M away during combat. My only defense is to run away, peace out, and call the pet and start over. On high density planets, that's probably incap or cloning.

You could be damn sure that if it took 30 sec for your crafting tool to appear, you'd be screaming like a stuck pig. So would I; I'm gonna scream about any un-needed time sink. So after my 9 1/2 minute wait for a shuttle, I have to wait another 1/2 minute to call my vehicle or pet. Since the pets don't follow, I wait another 1/2 min to recall the pet. And with the less than solid operation of radial commands I can keep my fingers crossed that the pet appears in 30 seconds. And if it doesn't, when I pull up the radial, it says store instead of call, rinse and repeat.

One of the interesting things to note is that in the Commando Forum there is a thread titled: Is There A Way We Can Ban DeneziB From Our COMMANDO Forum?

Sounds nice with the Cu-Pa mountable, but the I got a question, being not a CH.

What lvl is the Cu-Pa, cause I would love to ride on.

Cu pa is CL 11, so it's beyond the reach of non-CH. The larger wasteland cu pa is CL 19.

On the bantha side, I think the regular bantha is a CL 14 critter.

Regular cu pa is CL 11. Wasteland cu pa is CL 19.

To my knowledge, there are no wild cu pa or bantha variants that can be used by a non-CH (even the incredibly tiny Dwarf Bantha is CL 11). Unless some are introduced, all non-CH bantha and cu pa mounts will need to be made by a Bio-Engineer.

THere goes a potential market.

I actually had orders for a Cupa mount and 10 Bantha mounts all non CH

Vert any chance they can lower the Cupa to CL 10 with the next patch and the Bantha too ? (the tiny one)

In an earlier incarnation of the mounts training them to mount was supposed to lower their CL to 10 or below. What ever happened to that?

Thnx guys.

About the lvl, it would be nice if we could just have some control bio-enhancement or something like that to alow us non-CH to ride the Cu-Pa.

Also the Cu-Pa is close to the (forgot the name, but those they ride on Hoth in the movie) and I don't think Luke or Han had any CH skills. Except they could ride the beast.

ALYSSANDRA BO'O thnx for the offer, but as a starsidein I can't buy from you.

To me the Cu-Pa is only to be a ride, my way back old kaadu didn't even have attack commands.
