I'm about to master scout and have every intention of adding CH to my Ranger prof. One thing I had thought about was the ability to milk your herd then sell the milk to bios and chefs, etc. Heck, I'm from Texas, this mindset of ranching is a natural thing 
I would think that milking and harvesting when the pet's ready to croak would be the perfect addition. Plus, some benefit could be given to the domesticated meats that are a little more low end making them more valuable. A herd of bantha or bakerasets or any other large meat and milk providing animals corraled and ranched by experienced CH's would be a great addition to any player city IMHO.
And yes, harvesting and milking droids would be a must.

One idea I had when reading you post, Pluto9Moon. An addition to storing pets, I know all CH's have had this problem at one point or another, selling pets.
Now, not the actualy act of selling them, but getting out what you have and all.
Taking into account all that you've already laid out, add onto it the ability to sell pets without you having to be present. Make it kind of like a vendor that holds pets that are already trained and all, since we can't put pets on a vendor or bazaar, this would be very handy, I think. With the pets being in the holding area that you've already laid out, make a type of interface where the CH could set prices for certain pets that are in the holding area. Another thing I think would be good to add on, is that the actual size of the holding area doesn't change, just the number of pets able to be held.
I offer this idea, because I know everyone hates trying to *spam* their inventory of pets all over the place and, most of the time, wasting your time in doing so.
Any ideas on this one? Will be welcomed. :-)

I read all 7 pages before writing this. Please put your PSP prospect on the original page of this post. otherwise I am not for breeding. You can call what BE's do something other than breeding but it is breeding. Breeding better stronger pets using a variety of DNA. And to have a CH Breed in my opinion would be stepping on the BE community's toes. And they already smart since some don't wanna buy our pets, pet stims or want anything to do with us. Others of course don't mind :-) As for crated DNA, well I don't think it's viable because the DNA quality probably would not be any good. Even if it's a Very high quality sample it wouldn't be as good as a frenzied graul sample, or a Merek Harvester sample. Although there are some BEs that like the um... well I call it the lazy way of getting pets. Anyway I am against a CH breeding anything in general because that is the realm of the Bio-engineer. As a CH i agree we need storage (Yes I remember that is number 1) I like the ranch idea I like the ideas for implementation. It would be cool. If they are willing to put it in I would like it, I would like a place to get milk and eggs consistently also. Although I agree there should be some repercussions for using your beloved pet as a farmer does his livestock (namely the vit loss) Anyway overall I like the ideas set forth. Although I do not like the fact that you want only 'natural' animals to be bred for PSP. I think any animal should be able to be trained as PSP within the corral, THEN you don't have to breed anything at all. It can be a skill that comes with Master CH or something or maybe even with the MCH corral. Anyway have fun and I hope they do something about our Pet space. I don't think we should be able to sell pets from the corral I think they should let BEs redeed pets that have been trained so maybe the division between some of us can dissolve somewhat. I agree that it would be nice to redeed the pets that we've made, and that it should be a BE skill and not a CH skill. I still think that having the option to sell the pet from the holding area because, since it would be a BE skill and not a CH skill, being a MBE/CH myself, I know that CH's would like the ability to sell their critters without having to have them on their toon or have to spam what they have to sell the critters.

Yeah, I know. There's a place specifically for pet deeds and yet it's never been utilized because all the devs want on the bazaar are resources, clothing, armor and manufacturing schematics. And the schematics being the only thing from a datapad that can be sold. It's pretty ridiculous, to be honest.

How about instead of redeeding, we had an option to tag any animal in the pen as "for sale" ?? If we set up the managment terminal on each pen like a JTL starship terminal, it would be prety easy. As I stated before, we would have to have the the modules crafted for us and insert them into the pen terminal just like starship parts. If we had a "sale" module, it would open up an option to tag each pet in the pen as for sale. What do you think? And breeding was never the main objective. Storage is a must. We tried to fit in breeding as a concept idea to add content. We originally had the breeding as baby copies of the parents just like in the wild. Not a huge benefit to us but also not taking anything away from a B/E. It would allow us to get a baby from a beloved pet perhaps. We added the benefits as ideas later. I really would like to see the egg and milk idea too. With perhaps the vitality loss and / or a timer restriction. I am not completly against training B/E pets through the corral as PSP pets. Will have to see what everyone else thinks. I appreciate everyones' comments. Keep them coming and maybe exentually we will see version 4. Probably well after the the combat rebalance.
