BABIES, BABIES, BABIES

The biggest thing I think is wrong with the CH is the lack of variety. I am not just talking about variety of different kinds of pets, but different stats on different pets. I realize that BE is supposed to have some control over this, but why is it all animals in the wild have the exact same stats? Why not put a little variance into each animal. It would be nice to see slightly better/worse HAMs, hit ratio, damage, or resistances on each animal (differences on babies would be fine for now). I would imagine a specific range of values for each animal type. The values could be either random or even better based on the resources around. So if there is high quality water and grains around then the herbivores in the area are generally better quality. And if there are better quality herbivores then there are better quality carnivores. As an added bonus if the creatures are based on the resources they will be in a dynamic flux just as the resources are.

I think if this were added into the game it would bring a lot of fun back into the CH class. People would go around hunting the universe to find the very best (creature name) out there. And it would get some CHs to stop at each den and check the quality of animals. Instead of just running by that Grand Wrix den and saying “Already have 1 of those”.

One other thing, if having each animal have a different stats is just too difficult to account for then at least have the species change stats on a regular basis much like the resources already do. This would at least allow for “some“ variance in pets and bring a whole new market to inter-CH trading.

1. Pet following issues. Pets still stop at invisible borders (affects all pets, not just CHs). Pets running back to the point they were called when they get /warningshot. Pets vanishing in the middle of combat. These issues are not happening as often, but does still occur sometimes.

2. Pets not healing in the datapad anymore for some people (like me )

3. No mission credit for pet kills. Pets are my weapon, I should earn the full faction point or explorer mission kill count credit when my pet does the killing.

4. Mission difficulty level does not scale up based on group strength. This applies to grouping with other players as well, but grouping my pets should offer me tougher missions. Of course, number 3 has to be fixed first for this to yield any benefit.

5. Pet healing rate is way to slow. I know you want us to buy and use BE pet stims, but I can't find them on the market most of the time. Improve pet healing rate both inside and out of the datapad. Make pet stims cheaper to craft and more effective.

1) Create an out of combat /sit command to increase Pet Regen so they can recover their HAM in the same amount of time a person could.

2) Vitality concerns - Allow high lvl CHs or just MCH to suffer no permanent loss of vitality on Wild Tamed pets. Or give a perk that Vit loss has no affect on the pets stats for High lvl CHs. That way there is still pet turn over.

3) If a pet is set to ranged attack then it needs to either 1) always keep distance between it and NPC 2) stay near the Tamer while attacking, this way is a good way of pulling things. I would rather option 2.

4) When calling pets from Datapad the 'Call' option does not show up unless you click the pet icon a couple times.

5) Create new action/mind draining commands that cause pet to perform moves (bodyslam, stomp, GoFortheThroat) that will increase damage. Create action/mind draining commands that causes the pet to target one specific HAM bar.

6) Make the special abilities of pets controlable, make it cost mind/action to use.

7) Embolden needs to make the pet actually not run away. Enrage needs to either increase pet attack speed or increase damage delt to equal the amount of action/mind it costs. Also with Enrage and Embolden it needs to be non-random which pet becomes enraged or emboldened. Make it a targetable skill.

I just want to make a few points about some of the suggestions

- The ability to sell pets on vendor/bazaar. --- Just as long as the only ones who can put them on the Bazaar are people who have the Transfer command.

(perhaps remove ability for non-CH pets to attack?) --- this would destory pet worth and cause more hurt then help, especially to BEs since this is their livlihood. Now if you are talking about removing the attack command then thats different. If pets were simply 24/7 guards that might work but Guard isnt exaclty working all the time so this might not work either.

My pet doesn't heal while in the data pad either and it takes at least 3-5 right clicks on him just to get him out with the call command now too!!

ALSO my droid will not heal while in the data pad and if I'm logged out, he only heals when I'm actually logged into the game...

Fix something, break something fix something break something, soon we will be back to beta 1!

My top issues as a MCH....

1. Non-CHs should not be allowed to use pets for fighting. I can't use other class' special weapons to their full ability without the skills (even the low-level guns and such) so why should a non-CH be able to use MY low-level weapons to their full capacity? Let non-CHs have them as toys and mounts but THAT IS IT. I remain convinced that giving non-CHs combat pets was one of the biggest mistakes ever made by the devs with regards to the CH class.

2. Bring back the extinct babys! I still can't understand the logic behind nerfing my beloved giant peko babys (I had intended for a flock of three of them to fight with) while a non-skilled imperial can whip out a bloody AT-ST. Over-powered mmy backside. You can still get rancors and grauls and guerreks and ravenous tortons, but not a CL22 giant peko?

3. More babys from existing monsters! More variety of babys! I wanna female tybis! They're not "super" pets, they're not overwhelmingly awesome, but they're so cute and they've got fringes! And I can't find a baby female tybis to save my life!

ohhh. . I want a Tybis too. . and I dun want to buy it .. I want to tame it. .

Anyways. . on to my top 5 issues

1) Storage. . we need more .. lots more. . I wanna collect

2) More commands/abilities . . theres been some really good ones Suggested that I'd love to have. . and not even fighting ones. . just more things we can do to interact with our pets. .and I'd love to have some added Creature knowledgewhen you hit master. .

3) More variety. .soo many animals out there that look great. . cept they have no babies.. abd BE's can't make them either. . its not cool. .

4) Sell Pets on Bazaar. . and let us put them in Vedors. . would make life sooo much easier. .

5) raise our cap just a little whee bit. . 70 is a tad to low. .

in no particular order:

1) every creature in the game should spawn babies via either wilderness or bio-engineers. every creature in the game. every creature in the game. EVERY SPECIES IN THE GAME SHOULD HAVE BABIES, EITHER WILD, OR BIO-ENGINEERED.
2) remove the silly pet calling restrictions. we can't insta-heal anymore, so lose the location restriction.
3) zone line stopping is very annoying.
4) no reason to go master CH. creating 250,000 different species of wild babies that are CL50+ when full grown would help this out a lot.
5) more commands like sit, lay, etc. make the empathy tree more useful. sitting would increase pet regen rate by 2. laying by 3.

6) give bio-engineers some love. i'm having fun as CH, and i don't know a single BE who is having fun or is in it for any other reason than "yeah BE sucks but its supposed to get better, so i'm hanging in there."

thank you for /tellpet. loving it, but some feedback would be nice "you told your pet: attack"

I think they instituted the camp/ city/ residence rule way back when storeing your pets in your datapad instantly healed them. . then people were just storeing and recalling thier pets whenever damage was inflicted imediatly. . howeverthey also added a timerto "store". . and pets don't insta heal anymore .. so it seems like a pointless rule to me. . those who can call pets anywhere are lucky its a bug

I usually group with three Novice CH's to hunt for babies (which is a diificult task at best since there is a very limited variety!!). When we gather we usually discussthe latest topics on the CH forum.

The person who posted the above isstating a belief we have had every since we became CH's.

Giving non-CH's combat pets was a big mistake. In fact, one of my online friends dropped out of CH, became a Master Scout and bought a pet from a CH. His point? Why gather all those xp for CH when he can just buy a pet and get on with it.
