Thread: Clarification Please

There are a few things that I would like clarification on.

I have read somewhere that the defence attributes for pistoleer are not working. I can't ever remember seeing a dodge.

I have heard that speed cap for pistol is 100. I want to know this is true becauseI am working on the BH pistol skill as well to makeelite Pistoleer.

Do skill enhancing items work? And if they do, can the enhancement go over the cap?

Will you please comment on these items.

It would appear that due to balance issues during beta, defensive skills are disabled (not just for pistoleers - for everyone. Melee toughness works, and that's about it. Ranged / melee defense, defense vs stun / blind / posture down / kd don't appear to work at all, and block / dodge don't appear to work at least in pvp). Probably for the same reasons, skill enhancement items appear to be currently disabled.

Speed skill will go over 100, but whether it does anything or not is questionable. Testing indicates that it's a flat percentage decrease, so anything from 100 on (or even 80 something on) will just give a 1.0 firing delay for anything.

So unfortunately we need to wait till more things are fixed / enabled to really know how it will all work and plan our characters. Too bad that could mean weeks of wasted exp gathering down the road...

i dodge on rare occasions in pvp and pvm but even if would dodge more frequently i would be better of not to dodge at all because the dodge animation a) lets you freeze for about 2 seconds when running and b) seems to delay all other attacks for that time.

Ok, from two different sources I get two different answers. I know they nerf droids so that we could not place creatures in their datapad without the Transfer command, now I am hearing that we cannot do it at all. So before I spend this exp in Management IV would like to know if storage is still possible.

Thanks

NO.

Just like all of us, you get 16 creatures you can store based on agro/non-agro.

Will I have to retain my Force Sensitive skills after I purchase Force Discipline skills?

Yes. As other professions have requirements so do the Force Discipline skills. A player must purchase 6 full lines (24 skill boxes) of Force Sensitive skills to qualify to purchase Force Disciplines.

*So what this means is that we (Current Jedi)will have to master force sensitive skills FIRST before we can move into Lighsaber/powers/healing/enhancements/defender?

Can someone help clarify?

you will need to get you FS skills then go onto the rest of your conversition. HTey way the skills are done now you will end up using all or most of you SP by the time your knight.

you will not have to "master" them. You will take whole lines of them automatically at conversion. It will take 24 skill points to do it though, leaving you only 226 left for discipline skills.

Well it appears that, under the conversion methodology we saw last week, you get 31 skill points just for having the initiate box the day the publish goes live. From those 31 points, 24 must be invested/spent on force sensitive skills and the remaining 8 may be used to buy one novice force discipline skill box.The actual number ofskill points you have to spend on force discipline skills beyond the novice box will depend on how high you were in the old system. Based on the last known unofficialconversion table,4-2-2-3 seemed tobe the best place to be in initiate when the patch goes live. Who knows whether or not this willchangebefore next Tuesday.

I'm about confused on this one issue about unlocking between publish 9 and 10. If you manage to do so will your FS char be your main or a new slot? In the update log it says slot but usually here I see its your main. Can someone clarify please?

I'm curious to know this too. Also will you get an unlock message or am I going to have to master all 32 professions just to be sure.

Couple of questions:

1. The looted shields I get show something like:

front shield hit points 0.0/1100

rear shield hit points 0.0/1100

What do the 0.0 's mean. They have zero hitpoints? And if so, they cant be repaired, so do I need to get them reversed engineered?

2. My xwing can hold 99000 mass and I am able to only put in one Advanced blaster and the other one Heavy.

Is the Bwing worth getting since it only holds 68000 mass? Most of the Advanced parts are 14k plus mass each.

thanks
