Thread: Creature Knowledge
I have hunting IV but do not have the ability to see the creature level/difficulty level/challengre rating of creature. Well, I have anohter character, a bounty hunter, and hence he got master scout. He does have the ability to see the creature level.
The difference between these two is creature knowledge +40 and creature knowledge +50.
Is there some secret skill you get on master scout to help you see the creature level on mobs? Or is it detemined by creature knowledge? And if so, will I be able to see creature level with Ranger/tracking I? ( creature knowledge +5 novice ranger, creature knowledge +5 tracking I)
Does anyone know (or is there a web site that lists) what information you get about a creature at each level of Creature Knowledge? In particular I'm interested in the difference between Tracking IV and Master Ranger, since I'm still debating whether or not to go master.
I too would like to know what you get to see in /examine on a mob at Master Ranger.
At Master Ranger I get:
- Condition
- Armor Rating
- Resitances
- Level
- Aggressiveness
- Deathblows
- Ferocity
- Hide
- Meat
- Special Attack 1
- Special Attack 2
- Bonus to-hit
- Damage
This is from memory so I could be off about something.
Its chance to hit, not bonus to hit, and the difference between Tracking IV and Master ranger is the base damage range the creature deals. You get that info only at Master Ranger.
And yes, vulnerabilities and resistances need to be on that list as well. Otherwise its complete.
Master Ranger does offer +10 to melee defense and +10 to ranged defense. I can't remember if its specials or Damage that you get to see with master ranger

If I remeber right its not Bonus to hit but Chance to hit with 1= 100% so like .45 .60 or something like that. There also might be attack speed but my memory is fuzzy at work.
At what point does a ranger (or scout) get the ability to know the special attacks of a creature?
Im thinking of making a bio engineer/ranger so i need to know what level of ranger (or master scout?) gives me this info.
thnx
