It is my great pleasure to ask for help from all CH. This is one project that can help CH through MCH. I want to start building an Excel Database of what creature gives the best XP when.

The Methods. Every CH still earning XP here will be asked to note what creature he is using to kill each specific mob and what XP is granted. Each CH posting should report there current Skills Boxes x-x-x-x, pet used, pet attacked and XP granted. It must be noted due to the diverse nature of BE pets that their stats should also be reported.

What is expected is we can figure out the nature of exactly what pet used gives the best XP over what pet killed. Giving players a more diverse selection of where to hunt, rather than go UBER Zones to powerlevel off the coattails of others.

We can help once we trade in some of that xp for jedi juice.

I moved to Corellia I have no vendor and I don't know the coords to my house, but it doesn't really matter cause all my pets are in the tool box, I may have some in space, but that doesn't really concern you either.

With my Wild lvl 18 dune lizard i was getting like 1040 exp per geo at the geosonian caves.

My advice for grinding CH get a pet with a ranged attack like a dune lizard and take it to the geo caves. Leave anything that will decay at home and sit at a distance and let all the jedi at the caves kill the geos and have your pet attack from a distance. Dune lizards do this by default and will do this just by using the attack command. Now press tab and cycle through and hit as many as you can before the jedi kill them all

Yard trash ( chubas, nunas, etc ) 110 xp per kill. ~10 kills a min = 1100 xp/min. Several areas have many spawns so you can run around and keep busy the whole time.
I actually leveled back in the good old days when you could get 2 x 110 each kill (2 pets out). I used whatever babies I had reently tamed and I backed them up with my marksman pistol skills. Did much of my leveling this way cause it was rather hard to get on big hunts at the time.

Pet used was any baby < = lvl 15, pet attacked = yard trash, 110 xp. for lvl it was the current lvl not the max lvl of the pet.

BTW the crystal snake range attack hits for full adult strenght even when baby is lvl 1. I did mention it as a possible /bug but not sure.

No the crystal snake is not bugged all pets with attacks like that do full damage when they are lvl one. Its like baby snake venom being as strong as adult venom in RL

I believe it is more correct to say that a baby snake delivers more venom than an adult. Much like many human nerves fire as an ALL OR NOTHING principle. There is one example that lends credibility to what you said, however, and that is that human babies mouths have a certain amount of toxins when they are born.

Pluto

I helped a novice ch grind by going after enraged and Bull rancors. Was getting over 1k of xp and were using mid level creatures that could take some pounding.

I am about to grind ch all over again on Naritus so will post my results.

I am 4434 CH and use a level 15 Canoid Hunter, natural tame. I have been leveling against Voritors. I was using a level 12 Kaadu but the Canoid Hunter was the sweet spot. Slinking Voritor Hunters are 1040 for the Canoid and 960 for the Kaadu. Horned Voritors are 940 for the Canoid. I did the following experimentkilling Pickets Grand Wrix=300XP, Kaadu=390XP, Canoid=500XP. This is on Dant. The XP is constant per pet per MOB. My level as CH does not effect it. If you need any specific MOB killed on Dant let me know and I will kill them with a variety of pet levels for you.

I'm MCH and my easiest high value kills were lowland barakasets. Using two boar wolves I was getting 660 xp each pig per kill for 1320 total. I was MCH when I got this experience and MRM as well so having that master combat class made it safe to take these animals on. The boar wolves are tough as nails so were able to help me clean out two large wild nests before I stored them sweating and exhausted.

Myhighest experience returnis yard trash around Mos Entha. There is a point on the west side were the trash spawns in 3's within 15 meters of a single point. Stand there with two lesser dewback or lesser bol babies and you can rack up thousands of points hour after hour without moving. Its mind numbing but very efficient. In this case the two lesser dews fought for hours without needing any attention since I could let the yard trash agro on me instead of them. I find that any level 10 or lower pet will get 110 experience per hit up to level 5 then it drops to 70 per hit from that point forward when fighting animals the level of rills. They get 70 per hit for the smaller creatures from baby to full grown. The experience is split if you use two pets but the pets last longer because the occassional attack on the baby is spread between the two pets.

that applies to any animal with a ranged attack. not just the crystal snake. so yes it's a bug.
