Thread: Time of day pattern to GPS spawns?

I have seen quite a few people mentioning taming GPSs in my reading the forums the last couple days. Has anyone noticed if there is a time of day pattern to finding them? Are they found early morning? Night time? I am looking for both in game and real time data. Just trying to narrow the odds down a little. 8-)

I was taming and/or killing GSP in the Mudflats for hours one afternoon. It went through more than 1 day/night cycle and I never noticed any lack of spawns for GSP..

I just noticed you said "GPS" do you mean sludge panthers or something different?

Make-shift guide to catching a Great Plains Stalker Baby. This has guaranteed the taming of at least two GPS babies (mine and my CH buddy's).

1) Locate any Great Plains Stalker on Corellia. Doesn't matter if it's an adult. Just find one.

2) Set a waypoint as close as possible to it.

3) Travel away from that waypoint at least 600m. (It was 570m for me).

4) Head back to the waypoint and stop about 100m out. Wait the the GPS to respawn.

5a) If it's an adult GPS, goto #1.

5b) If it's a baby GPS, tame.

How often should I do this... I have a GPS sitting in front of me right now. Tried this method 5 times on it so far and still an adult.

Took about an hour of straight doing it for it to work for me. I worked another spawn for an hour and a half, then my buddy worked it another 30-45 minutes before it worked for her.

You know...someone defined insanity as doing something over and over again expecting different results...perhaps you should try something else...

what...I have no clue...I'm happy with my three greater sludge panthers...
