Thread: Im sick of CL10 creatures
anything wrong with that picture?
i agree with ya joker, CH's are expected to train people's pets for nothing, or find them a mount or pet for minimal compensation. pretty sad situation imo.

5k for training a non-ch pet to be your companion for your toon's life.... but slicing 1 weapon can cost you upwards of over 200k.....

Next time someone asks me I'm gonna tell them it'll cost50K to go find a pet, 100K to level it for them,and25K per ability they want taught.

But... Nowhere in the rulebook does it say that you *have* to provide non-CH pets to people. Tell 'em to bugger off or demand a price that makes it worth your time.

Why is it that everyone expects me to keep a datapad full of Non-CH pets or go out and find them one? And to top it all off they expect me to do both for free and if they do offer to pay its a whopping 5K?!?!?
It is why I quit Joker buddy. You remember me don't you. I was that crazy bastage who used 15 of his 20 slots to grow CL10 mounts and pets before the CU. Then also remember that wonderful corr of ours at the time who tried to tell me that the wonderful new creatures in the CU would make my job easier. Then remember when I reminded him that he was a fool to think that would happen, and that in fact it would make them less valuable.....price for one of my top CL10 mount/fighter pets pre-CU = 70-120k, price of one of those pets now = "Is it free?"
They made our pets useless and therefore no one wants one for more than decoration. A speeder goes 10 times faster...and doesn't SLOW DOWN when attacked. So the only thing that would make a person want a moutn is it can atack... but now they made it so they can't...not if they want to live. So it is now pointless to grow CL10 pets. And I will guarantee you that was their plan from the beginning.

Yes I remember you and our pets have more to offer now than they did before. They may not be able to tank like they used to but we have a market selling pets with abilities that people wouldnt normally be able to include in there template like root, snare, or armor break. The problem is that many people dont know about this new functionality.
One guy asked me for my cu pa I was riding (in a really nice way though), and since I had two, I just gave it to him ... and got a tip of 100k afterwards.
Another guy I was hunting with (also a MCH) asked if he could buy my three female narglatches (pre Pub21).
Him: "Would you sell me your three cats?"
Me: "Hmm ... nah, we have been through a lot together, I'm attached to them."
Him: "I'll give you my best BE Rancor and 1 Mil for them."
Me: "Where can we meet?"
Of course one of the replacement three I got later got bugged ... I could only select "store" in the datapad ... even after logging out several times and quite a few server reboots ... serves me right I guess.
Which reminds me, now I got that bug again on a bagaraset ... anyone know how to call this pet again? I wrote a ticket, useless as usual
As a non CH, I have something to say about CL10 pets (and as a non English, I hope you'll forgive my poor language).
I only train friends pets for free but make it very clear to them that it is an inconvenience for me since it usually fills my datapad up, and I will only do 1 at a time. I have been asked by players to train pets in new abilities and my answer is half a million credits for the service. Some people understand fully while others seem generally confused. Until I tell them that first I must find a suitable wild pet. Wild level 10s seem to be able to acrue more ability boxes. I then tell them that the pet will need to be used in combat depending on the day and if I can group it will take between 1 to 3 hours. Then I will be able to train the pet in all commands and abilities of their choseing.
My final quote is 5 hours hedged bet. I then point out my priceing guidlines come from BH npc missions standards. What they would make for putting that much time in, and most players who did not already grasp the concept grasp it at that point. Pets take alot of effort to make and must go for a high price.
If your prices are not in the 100s of thousands and your a ch your in the wrong. The pet is worth about half a million. Half a million also includes a profit for your personal skill in other words knowing multiple abilities to train a pet.
