Ok i was wondering what the best pet/petcombination against other cretures are? That means it would need high kinetic damage. I used to use two graul maulers, but now it seems they have nerfed their kinetic damage. So i don't know what to use. I just started playing after 6 months of brake.

The best tank in the game is the tamed TKM. I've seen these babies sucessfully tank peko peko albatrosses solo, leaving the rest of the hunting party free to inflict damage.

Not natural but made by a bio engineer.

If you can find a bio to make you a pet you can have him put it in any skin you want.

Most creatures you run into use kinetic attacks so kinetic resists and light armor helps. I have a BE'd gurreck with 40% kinetic resist, light armor and 11k HAM that I like a lot for general tanking.

Another thing to consider though is special attacks. Screechers, for example, have plague strike, which is really great when you're fighting things that are typically a longer battle (plague strike is a nasty disease attack).

Personally, I've found the damage that pets do to be less important than their tanking ability and their specials. If they can tank, I can hit the target with ranged attacks while my pet diseases, poisons, or otherwise just takes the damage. It depends on your abilities though whether or not that is desirable. If you have little to no combat ability yourself, you will want your pet to do damage I guess.

Of the wild tameable pets I've found the Toxic Merek Battlelord to be the best all-rounder.

Not as much HAM and damage as the Rancor - but much better resists, expecially in Kinetic (40%), no vulnerablities except for Lightsabre and energy (which can be bad when fighting NPC's).

Mereks are also pretty fast, with only the cat skins being faster - and don't get jammed in the terrain (unlike "Mr. Stumblebum" the rancor).

Depending on your combat style the Ranged attack could be a pain (but you can get round that by ordering it to follow the target before attacking). Strong Poison and Blinding strike are good pet specials (although Intimidatewould be better).

CL45 leaves space for a Master to field a reasonable second backup pet, I use a Crystal Snake, mainly because they look cool, but if intimidate is important to you get a second pet with that special (think GSP has that special and is a pretty good CL25 pet).

The place to search for your "perfect" natural combo is www.swgcreatures.com (with the advanced search). If you can't find them there then it's time to find a BE...........

All Hail the TMB!!!!

The only Natural Tamable they haven't Nerfed since the Great Creature Rebalance.

It is a great all around pet. Light Armor, Decent Resist and Damage and Nice Specials.

They're pretty easy to find, too.

Although nothing beats a well-BE'd pet, the TMB is often a CH Favorite for the Naturalists.

A pair of Boar Wolf Ravagers is a pretty good natural pet tank combo. CL(34), 9500 HAM, 50% Kin, No Armor.

best tamable pve pet = delerious merrik avenger hands down (yes better than tmb)

45 kenetic, lite armor and over 10k ham > all other wild pets.

I dont have one in my datapad cause they cant compete with be pets.

gsp does not have intimidate, it has posture down which is useless against other creatures. Sadly. And for tanking against creatures, tmb can't really compete with the DMA. I DO have a TMB in my datapad though as it is the best tamable pet inthe game.
