1. Agree

2. Disagree: If we get the creatures we want in baby form then the boss creatures can stay just that: bosses

3. Agree with Ko-Airi's idea

4. Agree

5. Somewhat agree (58 days and well over 200 lairs later i still dont have a bull rancor baby)

lets hope this gets put in publish 8 atleast...and one more thing. im sorry, but it is reallyridiculous how the mire marauder looks exactly the same as all the other sludge panthers. i mean, come on. its like the "lion king" of Talus and it cant even be unique? same goes for the arachne widow looking the same as the warrior and webmaster, when you think widow...you think black (hint). atleast the king/queen merek harvesters are a little unique compared to their siblings. maybe its just me

i think the more specific list wanted is as follows:

arachne queen, bark mite burrower, bark mite burrower queen, merek harvester, king merek harvester, queen merek harvester, blood-drenched merek king, mantigrue reaper, frenzied graul, ancient graul, seething bol crusher, thune herd leader, fierce piket protector, slinking voritor hunter, horned voritor lizard, plains hunter, kliknik queen, mire marauder

I agree with Tivo on all counts, including the rare pets. I would also like to have the ability to drop creatures in your house so you can collect all of the rares and show them off. I'd also like it if the rare where more powerful, it takes so long to get them and BE are just as strong, I'd like the payoff to be better. Maybe you could add badges for taming the super rare pets like the Bull Rancor.

Another thing i'd like to see is that we don't get a well defined list of rares. I'd like if TH would tell us "ok there's 20 new rare babies, here's 10 of them and you have to figure out the other 10 on your own." Since we can examine something and see if it has babies or not it would make it fun to search around and see whats out there.

Not even bothering to reading the whole thread and say this ....

I declare (with a fair chance to be correct)that every single committed ( or should say should,BE committedch master evensince the start ) thatwe have been ripped and torn upby the ^nerfs the past 9 months.

CH master would have the desire to havejustthe slightest chance atleast to tame a pet that could possiblyrare.

They the devs should kiss the profession's... @ , because they can do a slight of hand deal on a largeprofession or once large group of subscribers and make us go all nuts that there is a pet out therethat another ch may be not have, that isn't really strong or worth the trouble to track down at all.

We should DEMAND, that every SINGLE CL 70 creature and below should be tameable, without any doubt but the question of the rarity of our personal random luck........

But every MCH that has been around awhile has be cowed because of the nerf cries the past half year. We're afraid and barely able to stand up for our selves even nowadays.

Anything else is just .... political bs excuses between the professions to make other professions players feel happy at our demise I think. That will become a non-issue when they decide thats it's finally the CH'sturn to get some respect.

Not a rare, even worthwhile pet, Hey like those really exist anymore but even the discontinued rares/extincts.

That should or would be nice that a actually strong CH tameable petwould be become a rare. ( not just because the some devs decided that it was a Great idea that it should spawn1 out of 1k chance.) That we ch's should be made to spend that time sinkinto the pursuitof a flacid piece of dung that is worthless in PvP. Isn't the whole point about this game is the GCW ? if pets are crap in the fightthen isn'tthe profession a total waste of skill points but just a reason to keep a few misguided account holders to hang around another month ?

It's late for me and it's also latefor the decent evennominal thought to be puttoward is grind(profession).

eh, had a few if you couldn't tell =)

Great post but here are some points I would like to revise.

4) I think it should be any creature under level 65 should be tamable.

Whether as rares or just tamable would like every creature to be out there thats under cl 65

5) The Bull Rancor spawn has a mixed reaction. I have a Bull Rancor and as a hunter understand that I want this to remain as a super rare pet. I would rarther keep it as it is with specials and stats intact then to have it become easier to find and lose its great area disease attack. But if someone could figure out what the spawn rate actually is such as bull being 1 for every 1000 spawned or other rare pets, it would give creature handlers a clear understanding of just what there chances of finding.

And here is a question I know everyone wants to know:

Will Frenzied Grauls be back in the game as a rare spawn?

Make them as rare as the Bull if need be but it would be a wonderful addition to collect

And what about a way to store pets outside of datapad by having houses that only master ch's can use to store pets. A master ch could drop the pet anywhere in the house from their datapad in a house that would resemble a zoo or stables even. To me if something liked this happened that allowed me to store even just 1 pet outside of my datapad it would be worth it. Hopefully it would be more than that but would be a welcome addition to the game.

Keep up the good work vertexon

Ok the earlier post forget about it.

This is what Iwould like to made clear.

EVERY SINGLECREATURE CL 70 or under should be a possible baby spawner.

TheRARITY of the babies spawningshould only be tied to the CL level, I feel. The Higher the CL the more rare the chance of a baby spawning.

Unless the devshave a reason to WITHHOLD some pets from us, withoutany reason.

I personally as a MCH and as a longtime account holder and beta-tester that rememberswhen pets were stored in the inventory notin the datapad, would like adetailed reason given for the absence of every single baby creature below CL 70.

Devs may say nothing but we ch's should be used to that dismissal my now.

The whole,"it wasn't important or we didn't think you would notice or the more likely honestly we thought we could get away with it". to paraphase for thesilent devs form the actionsagainst the profession. Ithink thatisn't going to cut itwith the general CH population anymore I believe.

(1) We want more of the powerful creatures like king merek, barkmite burrower queen, kliknik queen, etc to be tameable as rares

Absolutely

(2) We want Boss creatures (wonderous cu pa, diseased vrelt matriarch, gronda juggernaut, vehement warrior, etc) to be tameable as rares. Some are powerful, some are not so powerful.

Yes, that satisfies the trophy creature desire

(3)We want creatures associated with NPC factions (Gungan kaadu, domesticated tusk cat, Nym's kusak guardian, Tusken bantha, etc) to be tameable as rares.

This overdoes the trophy creature ideal, so I would say no to this.

(4)Ideally we want every creature under CL 50 to be tameable with varying degrees of rarity. At the least, however, we'd like creatures under CL 50 that are never tameable to be the exception rather than the rule (currently not the case).

Absolutely

(5) We are relatively happy with the current frequency of baby spawnsfor creatures that are rares (mantigrue screecher, great plains stalker, bull rancor, etc). While hunting for a baby rare can be frustrating, the sense of reward from achieving success outweighs the frustration.

Yes

Additions to this. Since the combat balance is going to level the playing field for most combat classes, can we not find out if CH pets like the rancor and other CL50ish are scheduled to become viable in PvP? If not, then it is appropriate for us tobe able to tame up to CL70 however rare that baby might be.

All good points, and I agree. Also , why can't we have back the ability to store pets on a droid? It was a usefull incubator for all the cl10 stuff and would be great for mounts that i sell (very rarely i might add) I hate taking up valid space with items I'm selling. BE doesn't have this prob and they can sell on vendors/bazaar.

1. Aye
2. Aye
3. Why? are they better pets ?
4. Aye
5. No. I am not a collector per say, I'm a user. I want creatures that do me some good taking up space in my data pad. The enhancement for Be's put a serious dent in taming. Me, I feel that rare's are little more than a bone thrown Ch's to pacify us in the face of taking our wild pets abilitys away and giving them to Be's. If you want me to spend hours or days out hunting for a rare pet. then make it worth my time.
A. I want some measure of success. No, not easy by any means, but I would like for the pets to be out there. Too many times I've seen lairs and or babies disappear in front of my eyes for no reason after spending days looking for them.
B. A rare should be better or different from other tameables. If we spend all the time and effort tracking down a rare it should be worth more than just bragging rights. make rare's a creature that be's
can't come close to making or completely different from anything else out there.

Speak for yourself. I want every creature under CL 70 to be tameable with varying degrees of rarity. Actually, I want every creature under CL 95 to be tameable, and of course only useable until they grow past level 70 (disposable pets, can be more powerful, once they're big enough, but with a definitely limited lifespan).
