Thread: Specials in the CU: Vert please find out.

I have placed a thread in here before. Asking for some sort of confirmation or some sort of sign from Vert as to whats happening with the pet specials. Anyways an update. Chimaera got cloned onto the test center and all my pets were there....My Baby Bull Rancor is now a cl 61 shell. No specials...same with my gurrecks and webmaster....
Please please please....somebody find out confirmation from a dev or a god....Is there going to be specials? ......If not I will have to start playing with the idea of dropping MCH and just dabbling with some CH CL 32 cats......

Yes I posted something similar earlier today. Thanks for making it clearer tho. This is confusing. I don't beleive many CH's in TC and on the CU live servers have seen this but the commands listed in the Skill box are /pet ranged attack and /pet special attack 1&2. As you know the /pet command says "You pet (target name)" so it is not possible to use the command to have your pet execute a special or ranged attack. Help would be greatly appreciated Vert.

Think the last time I saw Vert answer something like this and a couple other questions, his reply was basically I hope not and the usual checking into it stuff.
I don't think the devs are telling the cor's much. They don't trust them lol well either that or don't care about the position the cor's are in
Don't expect to much of a reply from vert, hes got a blanket over his head with devs on one side and a few players on the other and they all have bats and are winding up to swing.

I noticed my BE pets kept their specials in the conversion, but my wild caught ones did not. I've reported this on the bug thread, too.

Please let me try using some of your pets on TC Chimeara Nitrates my IGN i want to try MBH/CH on there for fun
and see how badly a decent pet hurts a jedi

Sorry for the delay in my response, I've been at Star Wars Celebration III in Indianapolis and am now struggling to get caught back up with the forums. I'm definitely aware of the pet specials not working and have made sure the Devs are too. Will continue to list it as one of our top CU issues.

Man dont give him a hard time. He can only tell us what he knows and .... well if he doesn't know nothing he cant tell us nothing. I'm sure as soon as he knows we will know shortly after.

Hereare somenew phrases for you Vert, try saying them instead of "I have informed so and so" and"I am aware of the problem" :
1. "I don't know" -this replaces- "I have raised this concern with the devs and it will be discussed"
2. "I know but can't tell you" -this replaces- "I am sure this issue will be addressed in the future"
3. "you are right, it is broken" -this replaces- "Is this a real issue, has anyone else had this problem?" or would you prefer I post our discussions on creature specials?
4. "That will never change, get over it" -this replaces- "This issue has been discussed and they are working on a fix" also the first phrase as well "I have raised this concern with the devs and it will be discussed"
The simple fact is Vert, the reason I said you sound like Charlie Browns teacher is you never say anything. You spit out the same regurgitated company line every time. I have seen you speak like an actual person 5 times so far and each of those times I patted you on the back or helped defend your point(within reason). I will not ever blame you for innaction on the part of the development team. I will gladly stand in defense of you if you ever chose to be honest about these things. Until then though I will gladly stand in opposition to your spin doctoring.
So in answer to your question...if all you can say is "yes I read what you asked, please hold." then sure, say nothing. At least that is constructive for the fact that it is not deconstructive. Your little assurances mean nothing Vert, simply because you have yet to make good on them. We still have never recieved any real information we have ever asked for. I will go back and mark each post if you dare me.
