Thread: If Jedi are gonna complain about drop rates, so am I...

I understand what you're saying, but you have to weigh carefully what impact that will have on the value assigned to the creature. Take Great Plains Stalkers for example. They're a nice cat, but people are mostly after them due to their extreme rarity.

let's not forget that no matter who you are, you may complain about the rates now, but as soon as you get one, you're going to care a lot less. it's always the same.
How do you know I would care a lot less? I don't think so. NO ONE should have to put forth that much effort and time to obtain anything. It's not fair to those who have put the time and effort forward. It's not like we are able to go AFK, loop a macro and have our character look while we sleep. We have to be extremely active for hours and hours on end to have the slightest chance of finding one.
It's crap...

that's what they also say at first, and are pretty tunnelled into the argument while they don't yet have one. it changes pretty quick once they start their brag post on how they just tamed a baby.
let's not get into the maury povich-esque defense of "you don't know me! don't act like you do!". if anything, we'll see how much you still advocate it after you get one, assuming you get one.
I don't think so.
you don't think so in regards towhat? odd context here.

Probably because it's something you would do is why you say this. Because you have the "tunneled" argument because you can't consider anything or anyone other than yourself.

Well guess what. YOU DON'T know JACK S**T about what ANYONE here would do. So you can take your maury povish-esque comments and stick 'em.

And what's your point? Putting effort towards something that may or may not exist (tameables) or putting effort towards something you know exists...

hmm, looks like the discussion is over.
as the saying goes, the one that has no argument is the one that resorts to name-calling.
so far i haven't heard anything convincing from you, only "i don't have it therefore it has to be more common!". as soon as you can come up with something to truly back up why you think they should be more common besides "i want it because i don't have it", and stop the name calling, we'll have this discussion again.
you're not going to convince anyone to your argument by snapping at them and insulting them. you're the one that's not considering anyone but yourself.
No, it's not over, because for some odd reason you are acting like a child towards people here.
Want an argument. Ok, how about risk vs. reward. Explain to methe reward for taking the risk (not to mention time) to look for this particular rare. %5 kinetic? An area disease thatcould only serve as a grief in PvP right before the pet dies a quick death? A disease special works too slowly to cause any meaningful damage in PvE. Where's the potential reward for the risk being taken?
If this rare actually had some decient stats, it would be a whole different story.
Plus, the fact that I can't even get a confirmationas to whether the spawn is broken or not. There's your argument.

First you give someone a lecture on how to treat their pets, now this.
the irony being that the very animal he was treating like gutter trash is the very one you're complaining about not being able to find. so certainly you'd find it fair that you can't find it while some random person who fell ass-backwards on it after a couple of lairs treats it just horribly?
There's a difference. Wanna know what it is? IT'S HIS PET. Not yours. You have no business telling people what they should be doing with their pets now do you. You felt compelled to complain about someone elses belongings that does not concern you what-so-ever, but you justified it somehow.
And spare me the tired saying of "people with no arugment call names." I called you an a$$ because you have been acting like an a$$. Plain and simple...
