Anyone know much about these? I tamed one tonight and don't have master scout or ranger skills so not sure of full CL level or anything. I know it had light armor, 100% resist to Cold, Heat and Something else, 30% resist to a couple things, 5% resist to one other thing and only had stun and lightning I think as Vulns. Will be like 6700 ham when grown. Does it do any specials? Does it run much? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks,

lol you guys forgot the best part, unless I have my icons mixed up this thing blinds as well(the icon with the white colored eye and horizontal white bar behind it). Now call me crazy but if this is actually blinding targets(meaning the icon I saw is blind) then they are a GREAT pet.

Thanks for the responses. I thought the Protects looked decent so I grabbed one of the two I saw. Let me know if you test yours out because mine is still a baby

In my opinion, all the bird pets run way too much. Leads me to believe in the post the other day, that running has to do with size, and position of attack..thus, the mob and pet are trying to get into attack position..i.e retreating from each other.

Thats why I personally dont like flying pets for attacking , but looks is a different story

I disagree that all flying pets run too much. I have had a Spineflap Soldier, Spineflap Guard, and Enraged Reptilian Flyer........none of these have ever turned tale on me.

Have these become extinct? I havent seen anyone using them or having them outsince the patch and i cant find them in the databases anymore. The reptilian fliers are a cool skin.

I was on Dathomir and saw an enraged reptilian flier baby. I tried to tame it, but after the third 'Good... er... boy' when a normal critter starts to walk around again, this turkey flew away at swoop speed. Naturally I got the 'The creature is too far away to tame' message. So,I ran over and caught up to him and tried again, with the same result.

Has anyone tamed one of these things? If so, how the heck did you keep up with it so that it didn't fly way out of range. These buggers are quick.
