This is what has been happening to me today and what I noticed later on.
Started hunting rancors today and I had my cat out tankin for me. As we were footinitacross dath and I noticed my cat would take off after non-agro and agro npc's and creatures. It got to the point that it was irritating cuz he was not where he was supposed to be when I needed him. After observing his erratic behavior for about an hour and having a hard time controling him I made a simple loopin macro to control him....
/tellpet follow;
/pause 2;
/ui action toolbarSlot23;
and then the dump right next to it hotkeyd also.
This was keeping him in line and so I continued my hunt. Later on I was observing some Mutant rancors chasin a brackaset and killing it gang style, but while they were chasing it they ran into a herd of Makloc Plainswalkers and they literally stomped the lights out of the rancors. Continued observing animal behavior thru the rest of the day and it seems to me the devs have tweaked the aggressiveness of the creatures some. Ive seen this aggressiveness before... but not to this extent.
Comments anyone?

I noticed quite a few wild aggressive creatures going at each other last night. Don't remember seeing a whole lot of that before.

I'm saying what he said above me... a lot of aggressive creatures are mixing it up more often than what I'm used to seeing. I was chased a few times by aggressives in the past and I took them thru a herd of non-agro's and they just gave them the deer in the head light look. When I did this yesterday the non-agro's immediately came to my aid and attacked my aggressors. I'm about negative 5k on SMC and I had one aid me last nite fightin a NS Rancor that was near enuf to attract her attention. After the rancor was dead she looked over at me and turned her back on me... big mistake for her... but that was just another scenario.

Yeah, the Great Plains Stalker is back to it's supreme aggro self. Hunted down 10 spawns last night and they were almost always off chasing something nearby as soon as they spawned in. A friend with a BE narglatch with 9 for ferocity was having a hell of a time keeping her kitty on the leash as well.
I don't know, but I think I like it. It's more like it used to be, long long ago. Although it will make rare aggro pet hunting much harder.

My bull has a ferocity rating of 11 and I havent had ANY problems with it. I called him next to corillian butterflys, malnocks, ect...... and had absolutely no change in behavior. Maybe i just need to spend more time witht he pets though.

I dunno how I feel about this. On one hand, It will make my favorite natural pets (My Swamp Stalkers) a lot more interesting. On the other hand, it will make taming things a lot more difficult, and dathomir just insane. Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I was attempting to get to my harvs from bestine this morning. Being a rebal combantant, I couldn't get out teh door without being attacked. i pulled my kiwi pack leader (65% energy resist) and the next thingI know he's out hitting every stormie around adn I had a heck of a time calling him off... this could get interesting

On Endor last night (Thursday), my two BE cats were racing off and killing creatures (mostly docile ones) so there is definatly a change in creature aggression (and one which i like immensly).
Put a camp down on Endor and watched all different kinds of creatures attacking each other, was hard to keep my cats on their leash.

Interesting... Will try things out with my cats so can't comment on that atm.
I guess a pack of Mutant Rancors will always lose to a herd of Plainswalkers given their respective kinetic resistances... unless it was a lone young plainswalker vs a pack of Mutants.
You saying the Mutant Rancors were being killed quicker than you'd normally expect to see?

A Master CH friend of mine has been having problems with her cats attacking kaadu. She didn't know what was going on but after reading this thread I'll pass it on to her that other people have noticed a change in the aggressiveness of their cats. She had a problem with a one of her pets vanishing from her datapad too but I'm hoping that when she logs back in that will have been resolved.
Just noticed the posting dates of the thread. Is this still going on for other people or is this unique to her?

This has been happening recently, my rancor does it. The only thing that bothers me,
Aggressive pets do it. I think if they are /tamed/ this should not happen.

Yes, it is still happening. The only pets I can safely call out are my Gurrecks. The rest want to munch on the closest available critters around.
