I can't figure it out? He just says hi, time is money and good day. And I can't get the quest from him!?? Can anyone help me? I'm a master creature handler.

no you don't understand, Pirus doesn't start the quest for me at all! I want to start the quest so I can go to wherever and get the egg, but he just says good day to me!

I dont remember the NPC's name but just to be certain, You are talking to the guy standing by the varactyl in the SE camp?.
If you are and you are also a master ch then it may be bugged.

yes, that's the guy, and I am a MCH. Is there some other pre-req to start this quest?!? do you have to do some other quest first? If I'm doing another quest on Kashyyk does that hinder me from getting his!??! Someone else has had to have this problem!!!

The only other quest ive done before his was for the geo guy in the cage, He has you kill some researchers for some documents then deliver them to a judge, when its all done he says your reward is in the geo cave inside a container. Goodluck Getting It
Oh I did the mission for the rodian under the tent also

I did this one last night - he gives you the simple quest of getting an egg - first you have to kill the mother one. If he isnt giving you the quest - yes you are bugged. Try it again another day, is all I can suggest - there are a few quests bugged in this way but can be done another log in session.

OMG! Someone just told me that it may be because I bought the total experience instead the digital download. I was under the understanding that that was just for the REWARD that you can claim that other varactyl... and that either version would allow MCH's to do the quest. Am I completely wrong on this!?!? Am I not able to get the quest SOLELY because I didn't want to wait for a download and actually paid MORE money!?!? If so, there's going to be some PROBLEMS.
Please tell me this is NOT the case.

no, on cable, and you're telling me gigabytes are quicker to download than to just install off the cd? somehow I'm doubting that. Either way it still doesn't answer my question. So if you have no clue about it, then please keep it clean for someone who may be trying to help.

This is a Digital Download only quest for MCHs, that specific requirement was established during BETA if I remember right. It's a CL65 Varactyl after you hatch the egg and it grows.
