I hate to ask, because I am sure there's a list somewhere, but I cant find it.

I'm 1-1-1-0 CH and wondered if there was a good CL18 pet I could be using?

And are there skill tapes that raise usuable pet level?

Thanks!

From what I have seen lev 18 pets and things around that have about 3800 HAM.

So... bantha(or was it dune bantha?) gronda, ronto, kliknik, and some other generic pet sorts.

I prefer my Level 15 Cowardly Gurrek. That is the pet, regardless of pet level or difficulty of the opponent, that gives me the most CH xp.

Thanks for the responses guys.

Any skill tapes that can bump that level at all? I know there are ones for taming.

Thanks again

Any skill tapes that are out there that affect call level or number of creatures are broken, and broken on purpose. They're deritus from beta that never got taken out of the loot tables...another example of the unprofessional inattention to detail of the development team.

At CL 18, my favorite pet is the mottled wrix, because they're fast as lightening and they do have a disease attack. Before the great nerf, male mammiens had light armor which made them exceptional tanks for that CL, but that's all in the past now.

Dune Lizard is pretty good too and has good energy resists if I remember correctly.

You can't train the special attacks until 4/x/x/x, but if you find an MCH who can train it for you, then you'll be able to use it.

Actually, I think the specials work randomly, it's just that at 4xxx you can control it more by issuing the command.

Wallach is correct the cat will use it just randomly. As already stated a higher level CH can train the pet then you can issue the command as well.

What about taming them? When I try to tame a mottled wrix baby it says I cannot tame this creature. Can I not do that at 1-1-1-0?

Thanks for all your help

I guess they are aggressive as adults. What do I have to train to tame aggressives?

Thanks
