Thread: Who is the oldest one....?

After talking with some CHs and MCHs on FarStar, I want to know, who is the oldest (maybe the most experienced CH) on this Server, maybe on the other Servers as well?
I am playing a CH since January 2004, never dropped it, never palyed AFK to get MCH...

Well I know I am one of the oldest on Valcyn, I started CH in august and mastered in september (first thing I did was pull out 3 GSP's /sigh I miss those days)

Since the server (FarStar) wasn't officially launched until 7th November 2003, anyone claiming to have been MCH earlier than that (on FarStar) is obviously not best friends with Truth

Second part of your query, the most experienced CH on FarStar... well, that's a different question alltogether. There are many who have afk macro mastered CH, especially during the Profession Grinding Days. But generally, someone who master CH and stick with the profession must be regarded as more experienced than one who master it and drop it after a short time? Also, I think the way to MCH must be a factor as well. You won't get any player experience from afk macroing CH...

Ive been a master ch since sept 03 and will probably die a ch until they pry my gurrecks leash from my cold dead pixalated fingers

I was one of the first master ch on Radiant to my knowledge the oldest that actively plays.
I bought the game when it was released in June 2003 and master ch 2 weeks after that

Although i dont post very much, i have been playing CH since beta2 and MCH shortly after release and have been MCH since with Only Architect and Doctor as my 2ndary prof been FULL pet dependent (but getting OLD really quick)

First thing, I agree with the statement, that AFK-Macro User have not the experience like one who did all step by step...
Second thing, I see (i frequent these board only once a month), that there are notmany old MCHs left on all servers...
For me, as example, a good CH is also one, who knows how to use /tellpet... this little command often seperates kids from men (*g*).
I see sometimes (often is too much to say, because CHs became rare) MCHs spamming the SpatialChat with shortcommands.. damn I hate them....
Everytime I see it, I move along, shaking my head and thinking of the good old times.. that is the reason for that thread.. Maybe I find some more MCHs, who act and think like me...

i startedCH as soon as the game came out. i dont remember which month i got master but it was before the nerf. i miss calling 3 grand wrix hehe. never afked getting experience (whats the fun in that?) been master ever since. question about the above post - are you sure the master ch isnt training a pet for someone else at the spaceport? i train the pets i sell to the specifications of the new owner so im not gonna make a bunch of hotbuttons for that. i use full commands and /tellpet for myself. most non ch customers want letter commands.

Talon definitely mastered before me. We started about the same time. Since this is a pride thing, lol in all fairness I stayed master when he dropped it.

their are 2 other MCHs besides me that masterd in aug of 03 that i know of for sure, thier might be more that im not aware of.

MCH since 2nd week after release on Chilastra. It was fun leveling with 3 Rancors at Novice. lol If SOE made /tellpet work reliably, maybe more people would use it. I always used one, two, and three letter commands. I do not like typing or using hotkeys. I have changed my second profession often but always kept MCH.

I'm definitely not the oldest, but one of the oldest, but more importantlyI've probably kept the profession longer than most. I started CH on naritus in October '03, and still have it, in spite of the 12/03 revamp.
I know I own a greater sludge that's as old as the server itself, handed down to me from an original launch day player.

I cannot recall when I got my Master but I know I started on CH in August of '03 and have been a Master CH for a long time. Gorath server in case you were wondering.
