I thought i read somewhere on this forum about a Cu pa known as a Wasteland Cu pa that are supposed to have more hp's than a regular Cu pa, can anyone tell me where the best location is to search for these are, never seen one before, also think it was mentioned that they might not have the ranged attack can anyone confirm?

I run across them quite often north of Mos Entha, but you can find them in lots of places.

I now have 2 of these guys and I love them. I am basically keeping them for mounts for me and my better half when that gets added in. They grow to be 4500HAM and are a fair bit taller than regular cu pa, perfect for fast travel across Tatooine. They are also cute as heck (the girls love 'em )

As to where to find them, I have seen them in 2 spots but they are not very common so it may take some searching rather than just running a straight line through an area. The first was north of Mos Espa, probably at least 2km, but that was within the 2 weeks of the game so I cannot be totally sure. The second place I have seen them, and saw 2 seperate herds, was in the mountains between Bestine and Mos Espa, about midway, maybe a little closer to Bestine. This was on Tarquinas, but I figure most servers have things spread out similarly. Basically, look for them in more distant areas, especially in hilly country. Good luck!

They are certaintly cool critters but do they give as much xp as a regular cu pa? I'm guessing not...I think I'll get one after I hit master...Also...They can be found between Espa and Wayfar...about three quaters of the way south from Espa.

Hmm, you know I'm not really sure but I don't think so. Because for the longest time I never saw another adult, let alone baby, one, I never really used Dusty in fights except as a bodyguard in cities for when people dragged desert demons etc in. Given that, plus his size, I really think the wasteland is designed to be the "Tatooine Tauntaun" - a mount rather than a combat pet.

I am a huge cu pa fan as well, since I was a taun-taun fan from the moment I saw them in ESB. Heck, the star wars action figure I bought was the tauntaun one!

does anyone know if the stats on this pet have changed? If not, where are they found to tame? I presune theyd be good to tank tuskens.

I haven't seen one of these in over 4 months. I have always wanted to tame one, but I keep forgetting to look for them. The only one I saw was around what is now popular as the Pod Track north of Espa and Entha.

Just tamed one a few days back, 4500HAM at adult and clvl 19

This was one of my first good pets when I started out as a CH. I kept a pair of them for a long time speculating that they would surely be mounts if any were, well we know how that turned out.

When I picked up mine If I recall I got them West of Mos Espa on the top of the far ridge. Seems to me you can get mission for them as well, and that may well be the best way to track some down.

Hi all I just had a great day found a bunch of strong new pets. I'm up to 1/2/1/1 soon I'll have 2/2/1/1. My pets are a cu pa, rock beetle, 2 mountain dewbacks,new ones are2 rontos, a verigated womp rat, and a greater desert womp rat.

I was wondering where can I find a wasteland cu pa I would really like to upgrade my cu pa. I know they are on Tatooine but thats it. Any help is very much appreciated.

Hey Thanks alot all of you. But I followed Gomegth's advice since it was closer to where I was. And sure enough there they were. No babies to start but I went far away and came back a few times and found my Wasteland Cu Pa baby! As a bonus I was also able to nab a Squill baby too

Since you guys are so great and helping out where would I start looking for a bantha?
