Honestly, I would rather either Bats or Lantern birds as mounts before Rancors, but that's just me.

but if they would allow it so that it would fight while you were mounted, then yeah, go for it.

Now who doesn't want to see MCH riding around Theed on a Rancor Mount. Boy that is a status symbol if I ever saw one. Maybe make that the MCH quest reward. A Rancor Mount.

Of course I am going to sign this one. How about riding on my Bull Rancor, then I can be head and shoulders above the other Rancor riders.

When I say they, I mean that the Rancor and the Rider would attack at the same time. Right now the default is that if you are mounted and fighting, only you attack.

I would love to ride a Rancor but that should be done through new Force Sensitive system. the NS of Dathomir were able to tame and ride the rancor becasue the could use the force. Mainly not just any one should be able to ride the Rancor.

Duga ur 110% right the only reason they could mount the rancor was because they had force powers.

Not bats but ancient reptilian fliers....they are easily big enough and only lvl 25. besides, they are pretty rare and if they were mounted, they would be a very valuable commodity. imo

Yeah, rancors as mounts is something that often comes up here on the CH forum. My personal concern would be with the increased visibility of rancors that would create. Because let's face it, we'd be seeing people riding rancors around in almost every city. I'm not sure how much of a general concern Star Wars Continuity is at this point, but it seems like there are many immersion-friendly mounts also in high demand (fliers, cats, horses, etc). Just kind of something to consider.

Hello all I was recently reading a book called Star Wars Creatures and found out that nightsisters actually used rancors as mounts. I was thinking It'd be cool if we could use them as mounts. If you agree all you have to do is type /agree

The Dev's were asked about flying mounts. And the answer was no way. I do not think they have a clue how to code for it. Look how long it took them to figure out how to do /moveFurniture up. They tend to be two dimensional thinkers. They started in beta and I think it was 8 or 9 months until they got it.
