Thread: Return of the Elites.....
We do need Elites back or a form of elite pet that is rather rare and has unique abilites that only it shall ever know - none of this cross training of abilities to pets. Lets have our Plague Strike back, make the Bull Rancor a most fearsome creature again not the poor gimped beastie it is now.

I want my GPS to mean something in combat, not just another CL50 pet that took 4 months to find.

Transmission fromGrand Moff Tarkin:
Now after the glorious publish 22 from the Emperor the Elite creatures are no more and creatures have all been deemed generic with no special abilities or traits. Veteran CH now find their most prized pets nothing more then bantha fodder as now they no longer can be a force to be reckoned with in pvp or pve. The... toxic Bull Rancor have all had their disease glands removed.... .
Governor Tarkin, you incompetent boob: As any worthwhile field biologist knows, the Bull Rancor does NOT have "disease glands." It simply had very, very dirty teeth and claws, which, whenever it would bite or scratch a victim, would deposit a host of noxious pathogens into the wound. Alas, it would seem that some do-gooder Singing Mountain Clan witches have taken it upon themselves to orchestrate a hygeine campaign among the indigenous wildlife of Dathomir.
As for the loss of poison sacs among the Gaping Spider population, I can only surmise that some non-venomous babies from the Geonosian biolaboratoriessomehow stowed away on a smuggler's vehicle and implausibly managed to establish genetic dominance on that exceedingly hostile planet. The phenomenon defies scientific explanation.
Please accept my humble correction of your attempt to venture into fields beyond your expertise.
By the way, Governor... aren't you dead?

QFE.

There is a mad scientist in the Science Outpost doing all sorts of nasty things to Dathomir's wildlife. Talk to the Ithorian in the Trade Outpost if you want some of the details...
Speaking of bull rancors...
I don't know why anyone would WANT a disease attack pet in the wretched postCU environment. Sio got his sarlacc badge the other day, and got diseased, and the effect was...
He trailed yellow dots behind him for 30 minutes.
That's it.
No other effect at all.
So disease has been nerfed into uslessness.
I agree that rare creatures need to be re-instuted with the trade off being they have something unique and powerful. Trophy hunting in itself was a big part of the CH profession before the CU and at fanfest they were talking about adding tamable elite pets on Kashyyyk. Now this appears to be a complete reversal of swgand hope that in the near future elite pets will be re instated.
Get this on your list please Ko-a!!!
As far as poison and disease special.
Disease does not work anymoreand not sure if its because swg wants to take disease out of the game but if that is the case they need to remove the disease from the sarlacc. Poison should be apart of pets arsenal though since we can control spiders and snakes whom should be very venomous. Come on swg put some content u took away from us back into the game.
Good story! it is too bad about the elite pets, and I agree, the statue like reaction of agressive creatures is not what one would expect, "it ain't natural".......
Ah well, I have to agree with another person who posted, no changes unless they/we are 100% sure they won't nerf something else. *sigh*
