heres a little story for you all man really makes me think here , other day on one of my routine trips to endor , i passed 3 master ch at the outpost there , they saw i had a master ch title (i wear it proudly) and asked if i had tamed a bull rancor yet , i told them yea and pulled the big guy out , soon as i did i got called names rudely andwas refered as a novice ch becuase i had named my bull rancor. is that wrong to name a pet? then they added that i think i was better becuase i had a bull rancor (which is not the case) then i was sent a tell and told if i wanted to earn there respect i would have to find a deranged mantrigue , what is this? all becuase i named a pet , i am getting thrown aside from the creature handler community , if that is the case i will have no choice but to release some pets back into the wild and make sure i do not name them ! is this the way to have respect ? if it is i feel sorry for some of these people , i have wanted to be a master ch since the game was released and i will remain so no matter what , i went out and bought this game 3 days after it was relased in stores (i also did the beta testing ofthe gamebefore it was released) i dunno this is why i am coming to you all the creature handlers on theforums to get your thoughts on this matter , should of i named a pet , even if it is rare (im not trying to sell these guys here, they are my personal pets and a part of my character as you can say )

Don't let the morons get you down. There are plenty of people who pay their $15 a month just to be jerks online. If they couldn't do it in Star Wars they'd do it somewhere else.

Sounds to me like they were jealous more than anything. The problem with SWG is kids play this game. I would've liked it a lot better if this had been an adults-only game, but that didn't happen. I run into people like this all the time on my server. People that think you owe them something or just love to be butt nuggets. I wouldn't give these two the time of day, let alone let them influence my choices as CH. They obviously don't get CH and you do. Just ignore them and anyone else this asinine.

and silver and storm for 2 of my gualama's

Those master CH you ran into just don't worth it according too much interest to what they say

Dont sweat over naming your pets, its the true master creature handlers that give their pets names (especially the rare ones). you give your pet a name because you like them, they are you companions/friends, im guessing those guys went and got the empathy tree last

Next time all you have to say is:

Seriously, don't let people like this bother you. I put them in the same boat as those who simply say, "Why would I want that? I could have a better Rancor made by a BE." These are probably also people who seetheir pets solely as meatshields. The worst kind of MCH IMHO.

Whether named or not, there is no question you have a Bull Rancor. Plus, since you have given it a name, it's now personalized, which has always given me more attachment to my pets. Regardless, it's your pet. Do with it as you see fit and don't be afraid to use the old ignore list.

Congrats! BTW, I named mine (Goliath). I'm sure there is a TKM with the name of David just waiting to see if he can smite him.

I name all my pets eventually.

I did get the empathy tree last, though, so I have a bunch of BE cats named "Twenty-six", "Thirty-one", "Thirty-two", "Thirty-three", "Thirty-four", "Thirty-five", and "Fifty-nine". No joke, I am just that creative!

Placed a special order with a BE over the weekend. I hope my pad full of pets named like that will keep me from getting banned when I pull out "Sixty-nine".

Like the others have already wrote, don't worry about the morons. Just play the game to have fun.

I like to name my pets. I name all my pets aftermy dogs. Then it gets kind of hard to let one go. "Sorry Yogi, had to let your namesake go today. Tell ya what little guy we will get a bigger and meaner one to name after you, OK?". This I tell to a little Min Pin that looks at me like he is thinking "Whatever, now get down here and play with me!".

I name all my pets.

Flick, because he's a bug and I like "a bugs life"

Thunder, because when he Roars (a gsp) he sounds like Thunder

Lightning, because she goes with Thunder (another gsp)

Dumb, because he dont listen for Sh.........

Humper, because well, he humps the pve base

Stalker, because that dang spider is relentless

You get the idea..... Nameing pets is fun and cool !

1) Nerfed by the CU - Annoyed

2) SWG destroyed by the NGE - Pisssed

3) Cancellation to nerf the dev's pay check, priceless!!
