Thread: Fun macro for more then one Pet
To see what level of pets you can call and possibly tame, look in your Skillmods Window for "Max Level of Pets" (At Master, the limit is CL70. Currently there are no tamable Creatures in the Wild with a CL higher than 65 but BE pets can reach up to 70)
Added Note: Unless you are a Master Scout/ Ranger, you may wish to refer to http://www.swgcreatures.com/ for determiningthe CL and/orFerocity of certain Creatures.
To see whether you can tame a creature of a certain Ferocity and Aggressiveness within a given level, look in your Skillmods Window for "Taming of Wild / Viscious Creatures"
To see how many pets you can call at one time, look in your Skillmods Window for "Additional Pets" (At Master the Maximum number of pets you can call at one time is 3. The combined Creature Level ofmulitiple pets called cannot exceed your Maximum Level of pets. i.e.- At Master you can call two CL35 pets or 3 CL20 pets, or 2 CL25 pets and 1 CL20 pet, but could not call 3 CL50 pets, etc.)

so all my pets use "attack" or "follow" without their names..
I do use separate "named" commands for store and transfer though.

Correction - There are a number of pets in the wild at CL69: mature reptilian flyers, young reptilian flyers, kinad baz nitch (formerly CL70). There are quite a few between CL65 and CL70. The Sheer Mite Soldier & Queen are pretty high up there, possibly CL70, but I'm not entirely sure.

I always train pets their name so they have a "name" then I redo the commands to be generic on all pets like "getem" for attack or "follow" for Follow Me. I do use name specific ones on the more "dangerous" ones like Transfer and Store.

Just a FYI type thing, there is at least one CL 70 pet in the wild. Craggy Bolma.
That's true. I forgot about them and I was looking for a baby for ages. Never did find one but, I did find a baby bull rancor while trying.
If i want to name my pet, I use four of the commands using /tellpet (name) store....for example. You need to use four different commands when naming your pet. Then it will learn it's name.
Then i go back and retrain those four commands to just /tellpet store....for example, taking out the name.
So far i haven't had any troubles with my pets listening to my commands even if they have different names.
Here are just some level 69-70 pets:
Level 69
Shear Mite
Shear Mite Broodling
Lurking Shear Mite
Young Reptilian Flyer
Mature Reptilian Flyer
(Ancient Reptilian Flyer is 68)
Level 70
Craggy Bolma
Shear Mite Soldier
Shear Mite Queen
Reclusive Shear Mite
As for naming, you have to train at pet with 4 name commands in order for it to be named...most people know this. What alot of people don't realize is that you can, after the pet gets its name, change these commands back to normal commands. For example, I'll do something random like "Fido a, Fido b, Fido c, Fido d" for store, transfer, trick 1, trick 2. Then it'll have a name, so I'll change it back to generic commands like "store", "transfer", "do a trick", "do another trick". So, in the end, all my pets have the exact same commands for everything, but they all have their own names.
A little something a friend and I were wondering - after naming a pet, then changing the commands back to generic words (ie stay, etc) - I found out that you can always go and change the pet's name by going through the naming process again.
I think this is useful when one keeps a pet for a while, then when you want to trade it, sell it, orgive it as a gift (yeah trade, I know, lol) you can always give it a new name for the new non-CH owner. And for other CH's, they can rename the pet to what they want - dont like "Fido", then change it to "Killer".
If this was already known, my apoligies, I'm new to CH (about two weeks) and haven't seen it on the boards yet. So I thought I would share a little something I learned. ![]()
