Thread: MCH's what do u think of my first BE pet
man i hate to sound negative, but if that is your first pet..that is kind of disturbing , in the big picture..
i mean no offense to you, fweebob, but that is very close to as good as they get, and it used to be a long road for be's to be able to get to that lvl....it seems now once you become a master be nothing holds you back from making the best on your first try..personally i think the be profession should be a little more challenging, then we would probably see more be's around who enjoy the challenge...instant gratification will cause many to lose interest quickly

BE pets have their stats shifted based on CL. They come out sort of generic now. You can purchase an animal with given stats, grow the animal to adult, and have the stats shift on you to something generic. The real key to a BE pet now is the health, the armor rating, and regen rate. The rest of the stats shift based on CL (which is a kick in the nads for most of the veteran BE's out there).
Don't be to hard on him just because he's a new BE and crafted an animal that very much resembles what you might find in the wild. The game was dumbed down. That isn't his fault. That's SOE's fault.

Not true. Regen and Armor Effect shift based on GL, as do 'To Hit' and Def. And the shift happens on the second call, not at full growth.
Health, Resists and damage do not shift.
Have you tried playing with second, third, etc generations yet?
I've made similar pets to that (except WAY less damage) that came out to about lvl 35-40ish.
