I've been seeing a lot of great threads and constructive ideas floating around these past few weeks. I am taking notes and URLs down for a lot of things. Here's where you can help me consolidate the ideas I'm seeing into five key issues for this week's report. So please list your top issues with the profession, trying to keep in mind the upcoming changes that we've already been told are in the works. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

 1. No valid reason to get Master Creature Handler - A person who goes 4/4/0/4 or 4/4/4/0 can be just as effective as a person who gets master. The additional +4 pets from going the entire way, nor the additional chances to tame aggressive creatures, nor the added 15 levels of control are any sort of incentive due to my first statement. There needs to be a valid reason to actually want to go Master CH.

 2. Very little diversity in the creatures we can tame past CL35 - There's about half a dozen people look for, but past that it's just not worth the effort. I don't think this is as big a deal as I'd like it to be for the devs because of the changes they are doing to the BE profession, but there does need to be more out there for us to aspire towards.

 3. The creature display in the datapad doesn't show all the commands that the creature knows. It stops at around 12 commands, which is like 4 short (? don't have the outline in front of me), of the max they can learn at the moment.

 4. New Pet commands and the inclusion of /commands for training - I and every other CH alive right now would love to forgo the tedious process of training our pet through the use of the radial menu.

 5. I know this is something another dev is working on, but the stopping at server boundaries is still prevalent. Would love to see a fix, but there's a reason this is #5 for me.

Honestly, is it even worth it?

I mean, i know you trying for us, but in the end, the devs or the idiots higher up dont give a crap what we think, they think becuase they are in charge of the game, that they know everyting about it. Truth is, they dont know anything about this class.

All the ideas we have asked for and given, just get ingnored, they make up their own minds with their own pathetic ideas about how this class should be without even knowing anything about it.

I had to say that.

1. Bring babies into the game to make a master CH worth been a master CH, high end babies, like the frenzied grual, i understand they dont want any ar2 babies in the game, so bring some babies in worth it to a master CH.

2. Raise the MCH cap, i doubt this will ever happen, but i will always ask for it, 80, 100 tops would make a master a true master, not someone who has an extra box and cant do anything different then from someone who has dabbled in the proffesion.

3. Fix the freaking whining about hungry and play, good lord, that is the most annoying thing in the game.

4. Pathing is still screwed, mash the follow key 100 times to get my pets to follow when they decide to get stuck and stand there like a statue. Pets that decide they dont like been out and put themselves back into the datapad.

5. Fire whoever is in charge of the CH, and get someone else in there that knows what they are doing.

My top five.

1. Pet storage. With the new market for pets, combined with fixing the aggro/non-aggro and droid storage bugs, there will be very little storage for customer pets. Throw in the fact you need more pets so you can rotate because pet stims can't be mass produced and medics get no experience for healing pets. So most of those slots will be taken up with multiple pets of the same type to keep up a decent rotation. When creature mounts enter the game this problem will become even worse.

2. Pet pathing and auto-store. This bugs me to no end. It is even worse when I have to set up a camp to recall that pet that got lost or just auto-stored. With pets not complete healing in the datapad, there should be no reason for the calling restrictions at all. But even if calling is allowed anywhere, the stopping and auto-store issues should really be fixed. Nothing worse than getting jumped and sending your pets into battle and realizing they are 100m behind you or napping in the datapad.

3. The cap at master is too low, especially now with no more AR2 pets spawning. And at least replace the AR2 pets with a comperable AR1 version (maybe with a slightly different name).

4. Fix BE's. Let them make pets comperable or slightly better than wild pets. Let them make pets that will hit a certain pool more often (watch their demand shoot up then). Fix pet stims so they can be mass produced at a reasonable price. Let BE's customize captured babies (pet slicing). With everyone having pets, this would make BE's very high demand.

5. More pet commands. Sit and lay down would be great for the empathy line. Make a way to stop your pet from guarding short of storing and recalling. Give the pets that do nothing for tricks something to do (horned rasps and spineflaps of the top of my head). And fix the inspect info on more of the animals (and the showing of specials for rangers).

Okay, number 5 was a bunch of little stuff.

I think the same five issues are out there that there were before:

max number of pet lvl's at MCH too low

if ch's are supposed to be the pet sellers that the dev's say we should, we need more pet slots or a pet storage device of some kind (droid, house, etc)

numerous bugs

no high end(cl45-50) babies anymore (went from many many many different kinds to just 4)

constant nerfing

Bah, knew I would think of something better after I posted.

Mission level for the level of pets called. Maybe even a CH mission terminal.

Credit for faction when pets make kills. We get credit for everything except rebel/imp faction.

NPCs randomly attacking pets when we are fighting other creatures.

Take your pick, but those really bother me too.

As a person fiarly new to CH I'd say my......

#1 biggest problem is that i HAVE to be novice medic. Fix the damm pet stimm/BE stuff and or regen ratesso I can actualy ditch medic and not be changeing pets like underware.

#2 I agree with the above posters comments about amke MCH have more meaning. Master should ahve some bite to it. Adding higher than 50 CL pets seems like it would make master way better.

#3 Put a creatuers max CL in the info listed in data pad. It lists max health max max dmg attack speed etc why does it not list if CL. For anyone that is non master scout this becomes a huge guessing game.

1. No reason to be a Master CH. All high level creature babies have been removed because they were falsely assumed to be overpowerful.

2. When pets attack npcs they do not drop loot. The only way I could get disk parts is by getting a disk from a pa mate.

3. The cap is to low for a Master CH. Ties in with issue one. Yes we should not see people running around with 3 rancors but I feel 1 high level pet and 2 medium level pets would not be to overpowering. Again I like to use the example of AT-ST's. Powerful and no skill required. I think just because they exist we deserve a higher cap and frenzied grauls.

4. Can we see more pets... I am running out of things to tame... lets get some variety. I know this is a longshot.

5. I just have to doubly stress the high level babies... it NEEDS to be fixed.

Pretty much agree with what's been said. Will add these those to support cause for being in top 5.

Need more babies - bring back or add new baby creatures to give a little variety.

Sick of the "where did fluffy go, oh bugger he's back there." please fix the pet halting magic borders.

Actually to edit my post I think number 5 should be "Creature Handlers get FULL faction points for any damage their creatures did."

Those are all big issues - the lack of variety is starting to be a killer for me, it was bad BEFORE the baby nerf, but the baby nerf has been an utterly devastating blow, and the further nerfing of unique abilities (like the gnarled rancor and merek battle lord's AE's) are just rubbing salt in the wounds.

Also, frankly, I am sick and tired of our pets being meat shields with no bite - monster versus monster fights are pathetic, zero armor piercing vs armor 1+ on both sides, with high resists, and an inadequateAI as far as HAM pool choice, and specials. Monsters need to do more damage to other monsters - it's a double edged sword, but one that is desperately needed. I want a pet that can fight, not just stand around and get beat on for about 20 minutes while I pick things off one by one with a pistol.

1) I want to sell my pets on a vendor

2) pets still stopping at boundaries

3) are there any good pets left over level 35? Not including Rancor and Gurreck, those are there just for show now.

4) I know it would take away from master scout a little, but Creature Handlers REALLY should be able to see CL levels before they try to tame. I'm getting 10-15 tells a day asking me, what's the CL of this, what's the CL level of that. Then again, this may be more of an issue of lazy players.

5) I want to sell pets on a vendor.
