Thread: BE here- do you guys wear taming clothing?

It doesn't allow us to tame above level 70 but it does allow us to tame some of the very vicious level 70 like the rancor. Unless the CH is a wookie it is necessary for taming that level of vicious creature. However the clothes don't wear out for me very often since I try not to die very much. I've had trouble finding it on corbantis and have ended up with a sunguard had. I prefer not to remove my helmet when entering a gathering of hungry critters but you take what you can find.

i wear a BE taming/vicousshirt.
Its only a +14 one, and Ive been looking for a while for a +25 shirt. Ive only seen one of them, and it was 100k! Needless to say, I didnt buy the shirt, although I really wanted it.
I died 2 times and its decreased the durability on my shirt a bit.

I would never spend money on one . . . people just ask far, far too much for them. I waited until I had valuble resources to trade (and got lucky, got the equivilent on both my servers!) instead. I saw outfits going for 300k on Scylla, but then again Scylla had a serious duping problem that was never corrected.

When milk was rare that made some sense but any taming cloths costing more than 15K is realy a rip off. I generaly sell taming shirts (when I make them) for 5K or so.

When taming I wear a pair of +25 "taming trousers" a tailor made me in exchange for a crate of tissues (I'm MCH/MBE).
They noticably improve my chances of taming - and after 6 months of service have yet to lose any condition - so I guess they'll last forever.
I've never seen a demand for these tissues either - there are a number of factors:
CH's don't realise what a difference they can make (at +25 it's noticeable anyway and I'm really surprised more 'dabblers' don't use them)
There aren't that many CH's around these days
There aren't many people selling them, so there aren't many people buying them (a vicious circle that also extends to other products).

I wear a swoop helm +14 taming.... Thats all I need to get a edge. I tried with or with out. Better result with helm.

Best you can do with shirts is +20 (with all 1000 qual stat resources!).
+25 clothing is made by using both the basic tissue and advanced in the same piece of clothing so the stats stack. I'm not sure if you can use 2 advanced and have them stack too.Either way,only clothing which requires 2 synthi-cloth will give you the +25 max.
So shirts are out (since they only use the 1 cloth), but jackets, trousers, etc which use 2 cloths will give you the full bonus.

I use trousers because my action pool gets hit heavily when DNA sampling (uber-doc buffage is for wimps! Although I do use Vassarian for a mind buff). I've never actually been killed from being hit in the legs (head and body yes - but not legs). Normally I wear +14 maskscent trousers (my shirt is also +14 maskscent) -and do a quick-change when I want to tame (within scenting range so the maskscent trousers have already done thier job).
Reading this - I really ought to get a pair of +25 Maskscent trousers and a good (16+) wound treatment shirt. Time to go shopping again...........

Are belts or gloves two pieces of cloth as well? Someone told me to get a hat, but I hate hats.

gloves/belts don't take ANY cloths/panels. they can't be enhanced.

i wear a +25 taming wild and viscious wooley shirt on the chimeara server.
i looked for sometime for one and found it for 50k. i am very happy with it and have had no decay so far with it.

I've made quite a bit of the tailor tissue called Active Tranquilizers. It's supposed to give bonuses to taming wild and viciouscreatures. It doesn't sell very well though. Do you guys wear this stuff? If so, do you guys have a tendency to keep the same clothing forever? Does it allow you to tame creatures higher than CL70?
