Precident has now been set.
With JTL we can redeed ships, that means the code exists.
So why can't we Redeed or Deed pets to gain more storage? Most of use have pets we never use just because they are cool.
I myself only used 4-5 of my pets, the rest were just for the coolness factor (and the lantern birds that made really cool wedding decorations).
Limit our data pad space to 10 and let us redeed(for BE) or Deed our pets and drop them in inventory or such.

Ok, i have a question... when the ship is redeeded for JTL does it loose all of its upgraded components or keep them? This may not seem relevant, but maybe Creatures would lose all of their growth and have to start out as babies again when redeeded... and that just wouldn't make sense... its late, maybe thats a dumb point... anyway...

You can buy and sell pet's. Thus no need to deed. Would be a waste of programmer time.
We got pet's coming out the yin yang it's not like a shortage of animals ...

We should be able to put pets we tamed and trained on bazaars! It would add extra income to the CH pockets, plus give us a way of making room in our datapad.

You have to take all the parts out to redeed a ship. So no, nothing is lost.

You must be teh only CH I have seen that doesn't want more storage space for pets.
so can you get me a GPS?

deeding would be a good solution to storage issues.
lets assume mounts become viable again, as we saw last year holding onto 10 mountsin your datapad meant you "set free" many combat useful pets or BE'd pets you didnt really want to part with. all the while using your datapad for for babies to grow until mountable, could take a week or more before selling them.
right now my datapad is full. one mount growing for a friend and the rest are my pets I do not wish to "free" . one of these pets for example is a kimo dragon its size and fighting abilities make it a fun novelty and have entertained some of my friends (with children watching at home) with this mighty dragon lol. it would be great to deed him untill such times as these.

this would totally solve all my gutwrenching bio engineered deletion situations, and it would totally remove any need for a stable for me Obviously would not remove the role playing value of a stable, but I am purely functional, it is a problem I have that you may have noticed.
Sooooo, big time signage...
course, what if you have a pet that is down to 80% vitality, when you re deed, would that not need additional coding to work out how that is handled?
